I see that the Visas are single entry!
I may have to leave Baku after the first game and return for the second game.
There are multiple entry Visas but expensive and a “invitation” letter is also required!!
Anyone got any advice/experience on this issue?
EDIT:
Sorry, should have added this coment to the other Azer Visa thread...if the Mods want to merge, fire away!!

Azerbaijan visas online and really simple to get and relatively cheap at $ 24. Compared say with Russia, really complicated, took ages and cost a fortune. All that said you shouldn't need a visa to go and watch the football there next year. That's assuming nothing special is added as a consequence of the current covid crisis. Its probably less than 50 - 50 we'll have a vaccine here, I doubt very much anything will have been made available in Azerbaijan and on that basis I'm not sure I'd go.

Hopefully no Visa needed but nothing was announced on that for this year. Ive just come off the phone to the Azerbajian Embassy. I was informed they have outsourced visa application to visaforazerbaijan.org.uk/ Visa £18 but £120 fee for doing so. I've not looked into this too much...but worrying!! Last time I looked Azerbajian has 120 Covid deaths...but yeah no vaccine will put people off, including possibly me...but I feel I have to put some plans in place!! What a bloody mess!!!

THIS ON FACEBOOK EARLIER TODAY FSA Cymru Fan Embassy latest news we have Hope everyone is staying safe and well during this pandemic, a bit of luck we are coming out the other side although the situation is still quite serious in Azerbaijan and Baku. I got a message off a member today about the cost of a visa after he spotted that the e visa is not available, so you must book through an agency. I contacted Neale Jones from the Consulate office in Baku and he said this is because of the pandemic and currently e visas are not available on the government site, at any rate DO NOT PAY MORE THAN £18 for a visa or approx.. that price and please leave it until My next year at the earliest to look at getting this sorted, there really is no rush. Neale also said its not great out there at the currently, with curfews and lockdowns, and the worse reported cases of Covid 19 being recorded this week. visaforazerbaijan.org.uk/…

There was talk of them waivering it this year. That would be ideal for everyone, but I wont hold my breath!! Its a UEFA condition for being granted host status so it should happen under normal circumstances. These are not normal circumstance though. Bigger will be the issue of whether the country will be safe to visit next year. Personally I don't see there being certainty at the point people will have to firm up on their travel and accommodation plans. Realistically that's before the end of the year. And there'll be no refunds from airlines as they'll definitely be flying by then.

But I didn't know that about Visas and UEFA conditions....however, I dont think it was ever mentioned that the need for a Visa would be waived for the original Euros? At least I never saw anything!!
