19 year old attacking midfielder who was on bulls bench yesterday! could be another future star for us, seems to be rated highly at hull.

Has he played for our youth teams? Can’t see any info that he has. Must be a dual qualified too?
Will keep an eye out for Hull for the rest of the season to see if he gets a run out

He played in the Welsh system as a youth which is probably why he slipped under the radar. Another site has him as English so perhaps born Oswestry way? |

On hull city’s bench again today. unfortunately he will be relegated to league one with hull, perhaps could breakthrough next season.

"Yeah I support England for footy and Wales in the rugby, cause of my gran you know?" I've looked at his profile on Hull's site, he's from Birkenhead. |

Yeah I did some digging last week and found and article that said he had a Welsh grandparent. Don't ask me to produce the article cos it took me ages to find - you'll have to take my word for it. There's a picture of him with his parents on twitter with a Welsh cap and they all look happy - that's good enough for me

Yes he's a Scouser but has a Welsh grandma. This lad is a proper footballer. A tremendous prospect at 19. He's just signed a new contract with Hull City.

Heard from someone today that the new contract was possibly prompted by interest from Turkey and Spain. Gaziantep FK and Huesca.

Apparently Maritimo in Portugal are keen on taking Jones as well as fellow Welsh youth international and team mate David Robson a goalkeeper from Hull City.
