Seeing a few people really praising him, and saying how good on the ball he is. I feel he could become a real option for us, would be shocked if he isn't in the senior squad, especially with Cabango now out due to COVID

He was ok, definitely something to build on. I'm not massively excited by him, but he could be a decent option

To be fair he is playing at a club which is in turmoil at the moment. Pruned the playing staff so much that the couldn't play pre-seaon friendlies due to covid outbreaks and get rid off too many fullbacks that one one gets injured that are stuffed.
Wait until things sort themselves out at Forest.

No Brandon Cooper in the squad last night, another that Martin doesn't rate along with Whitaker.

Yeah looks like Rhys Williams has taken his place in the squad, hopefully he goes out on loan in Jan to get some game time

Signed a new contract at Swansea.
It's a shame he hasn't played much this season but judging from Twitter it seems Williams has been really poor so hopefully Cooper takes his place soon.

My mate who saw the game yesterday, said that Carrol dominated Rhys Williams physically, strange call to drop Cabango in that regard. He said that Cooper should be ahead of Williams after yesterday's horror show.

What’s the story with this lad? Is he going to make it? He looked the business a few years ago

What’s the story with this lad? Is he going to make it? He looked the business a few years ago Weirdly thought the same today. I always thought he would have broken in to the seniors by now, always looked quality through the age groups. Decent performances for Newport in the couple of matches I watched. Still 22. Potential season long loan to League 1 this year apparently.

I'd have thought he'd be a part of our squad for next season. We're weak at centre-back, and going to lose 2-3 centre-backs, and you'd have hoped he would be one to come in and offer us cover at centre-back.

On the other hand rugby by the dozen!!!

What’s the update here? Leyton Orient on loan. Future championship player or not going to cut it?

Was regarded as a great prospect but hasn't impressed with the admittedly few chances he's had for Swansea. The fact that he's relatively short for a centre back doesn't help. Likely to have a decent career at lower league level, with an outside chance of making it at Championship level. Unlikely to feature much, if at all, at international level.

Shame he's unlikely to make it international level, as he's a good footballer. Love to be proven wrong.

I was hoping Brandon was the one.

Saw on twitter recently that Leyton Orient fans would love to keep him.
Never done anything wrong when he's played for the Swans but several managers now have been content to let him go on loan. Can't envisage him having another contract but will have a good professional career for sure.

I always thought he had more to his game than Poole I.e., range of passing. Poole has really started to push on, so I’m hoping the same happens with Cooper.
Maybe he’ll have to find his level at League 1 and gather some momentum, but he’s a decent player.

He's actually 6 foot 1, same as Tom Lockyer, and two inches taller than Regan Poole. So, perhaps his prospects are better than I thought.
