George Cowmeadow, what a cracking name that is, imagine that on the back of your replica shirt!

Been said before but sad to see Emyr Huws released by Colchester. Remember seeing his goal v the Dutch 9/10 years ago and thinking that we'd added a classy midfielder for the next decade. He's only 29 now.

Looking for appropriate place to post this and can’t find one. Around 2005 out here in Guatemala I was speaking football to a Danish guy and was pretty down about the current state of Welsh football. I always remember him saying never give up on your country producing star players. Charles, Southall, Rush, Giggs, Bale. They might be one around the corner. Doom and gloom at the minute but things change.

Well Koumas looks like he has something about him. Great dribbling at pace (looks like the ball is tied to his laces), good technique and most importantly for us is 'direct' and prepared to take a shot when he has a sight of the goal - fortunately he is accurate, usually hits the target, can generate good power and is capable of scoring different types of goal
If he develops very well then he could make a significant difference for us in the future

I think we've been spoiled with some of the world class talents that we've had since the 70s (not that we made the most of it until recently). I can't see how we can sustain that

To be honest if I had the choice of another 17 year old Gareth Bale emerging or a coaching set up which would get the most out of whatever resources we have, think I'd choose the latter.

Premier league kicks off this weekend. Not sure there's a guaranteed welsh starter in anywhere. I'm looking forward to the Autumn but Bellamy's really got some task with the quality at his disposal.

I think Brennan and Neco will both start the season as first choice. Up to them to keep their places as there will be competition

Wouldn't be surprised to see Burns start and maybe Brookes but as for the rest of the few top flight players we currently have, it will probably be the bench.

Neco played the last two friendlies. Brennan has basically started the majority of games for Spurs in pre-season. Burns has been on the bench.

I'm quite into fantasy football and there's a lot of analysis that goes into that amongst content creators. The consensus amongst the content creators is that Brennan will start the season as the first choice RW for Spurs What's also being made clear, however, is that he's less of a viable option for fantasy football because there is a risk of rotation, and it's unlikely Brennan will be a 90 minute-every week player. Kulusevski will start some games and come on for him off the bench, so it's up to Brennan to perform well to prevent that becoming Kulusevski 1st choice and Brennan becoming the rotation option
