It's a damn shame if he wastes his career on the bench. By now he should be pushing Wayne for the number 1 spot, if not taking it for himself. I'd have him as 3rd choice at the moment! |

Good effort. We have more players than I though throughout the Leagues, just need a few in 1 + 2 to make the step up to Championship.
One name that was discussed here recently was Mitchell Clark, not sure where he's at now.

The most comforting thing for me is that once upon a time, simply being Welsh and playing in the Championship would guarantee you a call-up. Not any more.

I'm starting to think that it might be within our best interest to call on regular League players instead of youth players who hardly play.
Instead of Levitt, Smith, B Johnson.......wouldn't it be better if we had Emyr Huws, Ryan Hedges and Doidge?
I think it's great that we're bedding in players at a young age, but lack of game, especially in modern football, will eventually hurt you.

Is it worth adding Tivonge Rushesha to the list? Swansea first team squad player.
Still question marks whether he will pursue an international career with Wales or Zimbabwe but In the latest Wales u19 squad.

I think Levitt has been playing and playing well for Charlton. I do rate Huws, he’s had shocking luck with injuries, but not sure he’s been playing either. Brennan looks a special player and has had game time. Matt Smith really needs a loan and hard to justify. Shows our lack of CDM/CM options. I do think Doidge should have been called up and there is a fair argument that seasoned pros should supplement the youth prospects! |

Look at the clubs our players play for. So proud of Welsh football. The best position in decades. Maybe since the 50’s when there was hardly non British and Irish players in the English league system.

Read that and don't know for sure if this is true premiership teams will not be able to sign anyone under the age of 18 from the EU so this will affect ROI ? |

Was looked into before as one of the old football manager games had him down as eligible for Wales (I remember I actually picked him and got him to commit once) However, he has been checked out and he's confirmed as not eligible |

Just been looking at this list again.
Surely this is the most players we’ve ever had playing abroad at one time?
We can almost put a full team out of players playing outside the UK.
