Not to be cynical, but I think there might’ve been a motive of alerting Scotland to his services by accepting a position on our stand-by list. Now this move has been finalised he will be right under the SFA’s noses. Hope I’m wrong though. But they'd have been well aware of him already, having capped him for there U19's twice, no? No doubt, I’m just suggesting that he may want to further put himself in the ‘shop window’ by somewhat aligning with us. Hopefully he is committed to the Cymru cause though. |

Agree it seems unlikely still given his heritage and comments from Wales U21s than Scotland are belatedly trying to sweet talk him. Also Scotland are at last showing signs of progress
Nevertheless given our footballing past it would be great to see - I don't think the Jocks will be able to stomach losing 2 promising kids to us!

Speaking personally, I'd find it weird to have a lad as clearly Scottish as he is playing for us anyway. I know there are plenty of Anglo born players in the squad but it feels a bit 'wrong' when its a similar country in size and stature to us.

I know there are plenty of Anglo born players in the squad but it feels a bit 'wrong' when its a similar country in size and stature to us. Yeah I guess it’s a feather in the cap of the FAW to have been able to entice Terry Taylor to commit to us. I’m sure his connection to us is genuine no doubt given his mother is Welsh. I’d imagine he would have been a strong candidate for inclusion in Scotland’s u21 team himself had he not seen the light. The more the merrier I say. I find it quite cool personally. |

I have three Scots born daughters,Mam's Scottish we now live in Wales,if they had been talented at football they would have had a choice,don't see how its weird personally. |

On the bench for palace today, Vieira has spoke highly of scott. It does look like he will opt for Scotland at this point, but things could change with Osh being the new number 2 at palace, let’s hope so anyway. Believe he scored 3 for the palace first team in pre season, good goals too. Could probably make his PL debut today.
