Bore da, thought I'd do my usual away locations update now we know all the pots and I'm excited after last nights performance. Obviously, who knows when or if we'll be able to go to games again, let alone foreign away games but I thought I'd do the list anyway just in case we do end up being allowed to go, gotta have something to look forward to, right?
Anyway here's the list, we're in Pot 2. If you see any mistakes do let me know and I'll update. Who's your dream group for qualifying and dream group just for the trips?
Pot 1
Belgium - King Badouin Stadium, Brussels (50,093). Generally all games are played here except a few recently that were played at the 10,000 seater in Leuven but I suspect this was largely due to Covid restictions.
France - Stade de France, Paris (80,698) - All games.
England - Wembley Stadium, London (90,000) - All games.
Portugal - Multiple locations. Over the past few campaigns they've played at Estadio da Luz, Lisbon (64,642); Estadio Jose Alvalade, Lisbon (50,095); Estadio Algarve, Faro (30,305) and Estadio do Dragao, Porto (50,033). Generally the bigger games seemed to be played in Lisbon at the Estadio da Luz.
Spain - Multiple Locations. Spain really do play all over the country but over the last two campaigns they've played in Mestalla, Valencia (48,600); Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid (81,044); El Molinon, Gijon (30,000); Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid (68,456) and La Cartuja, Sevilla (60,000).
Italy - Multiple Locations, again Italy play all over. Locations include Stadio Friuli, Udine (25,144); Stadio Ennio Tardini, Parma (22,352); Juventus Stadium, Turin (41,507) and Stadio Olimpico, Rome (70,634). Generally I think we'd get one of the bigger stadiums as they tend to play the Pot 2/3 level teams in Turin and Rome.
Croatia - As we know this one can be frustrating. They tend to play the majority of games at Stadion Maksimir, Zagreb (35,123). However, they have also played games in (as we know) Stadion Gradski Vrt, Osijek (17,061); Stadion Poljud, Split (34,198) and Stadion Rujevica, Rijeka (8,279).
Denmark - Another we've been stung by recently, However, Denmark have tended to play all their games at the Parken Stadium, Copenhagen (38,065) recently.
Germany - Multiple locations. Volksparkstadion, Hamburg (51,500); Opel Arena, Mainz (27,000); Borussia Park, Monchengladbach (46,249); Waldstadion, Frankfurt (48,500); Others including Stuttgart, Leipzig, Koln. It's a lottery.

Greece - Olympic Stadium, Athens (69,618) - All games.
