Croatia Wales Iceland Luxembourg Andorra San Marino Remember no point finishing 2nd, we are already 95% sure of being in the play-offs. Need a team from pot 1 who we can get at least 2 or 3 points from. I get your point but a strong second place finish would most likely mean we'd be seeded for the play offs, relying on the NL spot means it's a guaranteed unseeded spot. Naturally though I agree that we need an 'easier' team from Pot 1, Croatia is the ideal one. Croatia Cymru Greece Luxembourg Latvia San Marino

I'm not saying you're wrong I'd just like to know what the regs are.

I got the info from here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_%E2%80%93_UEFA_Second_Round it has links in there to the official regulations also. "Based on the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League overall ranking, the best two Nations League group winners that finished outside the top two of their qualifying group will advance to the play-offs, and will be unseeded in the semi-final draw."

Worst Case Scenario: England Cymru Norway Slovenia Azerbaijan Whilst that group is a skin crawler, I still think it would be worse if it were France instead of England. With our first team I could see us doing okay against England, whereas France I feel we’d have no chance. I could also see England dropping points to Norway or Slovenia

Agree we'd have a slightly better chance but two losses against England is sickening. France, you'd think fair cop, WC winners and all that but England, sick just thinking about it! Just Croatia or Denmark please.

I could also see England dropping points to Norway or Slovenia I just feel a loss to England would be worse for player morale than France. Yeah, we might have a better chance against England but France aren't unbeatable. Finland beat them not too long ago with a weakened team (and France's B team is about as good as their main side). It depends on how you decide to look at it, if you feel it wouldn't matter who we lost to then I see your point. I just hate the media circus surrounding the England fixture which is what will give the players a knock on effect if we were to lose. On the flip side it could give us a bigger morale boost if we won but I'm not sure I'd fancy the risk.

Belgium - King Badouin Stadium, Brussels (50,093). Generally all games are played here except a few recently that were played at the 10,000 seater in Leuven but I suspect this was largely due to Covid restictions.
Czechia - Multiple locations. Stadion Letna, Prague (19,416); Andruv Stadion, Olomouc (12,566); Sinobo Stadium, Prague (19,370); Doosan Arena, Plzen (11,700). Worth noting England played them at the Sinobo Stadium in Prague and Scotland in Olomouc.
Belarus - All games played at either Dinamo Stadium, Minsk (22,246) or Boruisov Arena, Barysaw (13,126).
Estonia - A. Le Coq Arena, Tallinn (14,405) - All games.

King Badouin Stadium is right next to the Atomium, in the roughest part of Brussels ;-(

Brussels is a rum place. Not a place I'd go to again unless Wales were playing there. Definitely advise to take cash only out into the City and leave the rest of your belongings in the hotel. There were pickpockets everywhere when we played them in the '16 Euro qualifying campaign. Quite a few Wales fans were robbed. Keep your wits about you.

Found myself staying there a couple of times when watching Wales and a couple of times outside of that. The Grand Place is marvellous. I would say the pickpocket issue goes for any big city in Europe.

Thanks for posting this, my current feeling on getting in an 'away day' on any of the above is slightly pessimistic and negative (and sorry, it's been a bad day) from a ticket perspective, here's why - 1.The Belgium away is towards the end of March. Even with the vaccine now being released, it won't have had enough of an impact by that time and travel restrictions will still be in place along with strict covid guidelines. If they do decide allow some form of attendance ,it will be a limited home crowd, doubt there'll be away fans. I wanted this one later in the year as they have a large stadium. 2.The other 3 countries are later in the year, which provides hope of an away fans return as the critical R covid rating should be in decline. But will they follow the general 5% away allocation UEFA rule. Not sure, but am pretty sure they won't offer above and beyond the 5% allocation, as there will still be an element of risk and the need for rules still to be followed. Also none of the 3 stadiums at these countries have a large capacity, so unless you are in stage 1 or 2,I'd say it's very doubtful you'll purchase a ticket. I apologize ,If I sound like a 'doom and gloom merchant', but just in case your on the verge of booking flights for all these trips, my advice is hang on a bit. I'm desperate for a bit of live footie, football starvation is really getting to me. Anyone who can add a bit of positive spin to this, feel free.

Any idea of the average attendances at the grounds? If they never fill them there’ll be more tickets available for us.

Estonia appears the best option, the overall average is well below the capacity.Belarus is close to full at most matches.Czech Republic is difficult to gauge,as they use several stadiums, they seem quite full at the main stadia.

If the Europe Games in Minsk last year are anything to go by, then the Belarusians are sport crazy ... and the ticket prices were like €5-€6 ;-)

Minsk is a very walk-able city, with a big town feel in the centre. Even the stadium area is not unpleasant, but if you keep slightly North of the Stadium (1 mile+/-) - you'll do fine.
The Island of Tears, a little bit of a tourist trap, but anywhere to the South/SW of it, is lovely.
... Being the romantic that I am ... I love the park area between the Opera House and the State Circus - both a must!
If you want to place a marker on Town Hall - anywhere within a mile of there is totally fine

Don’t think it’s doom and gloom just some realism Even in normal circumstances there will be a ticket scramble for the above. With COVID-19 still an unknown would we even get 5% for these stadiums? This is why I am holding off for the first time until allocations are released. There are still big doubts if fans will be allowed in the Euros....
