Christ two in a week! All the best to him, hope he manages to get his career back on track ASAP. It’s perhaps somewhat different for him in that as a goalkeeper his career is potentially more longer term and less aerobic than an outfield player so he should hopefully have a good opportunity to make a full recovery, in so far as his footballing prospects go.
It’s also worthwhile strongly emphasising the point that seeing two young Welsh players in a week get diagnosed with cancer shows that youth and physical fitness means nothing when it comes to cancer so the rest of us should really take note with regards to our own health.

Joined Maidstone United on a months loan. Played for them last night in their 3-2 loss to Dorking Wanderers.

Should get plenty of game time. I was the Wrexham Maidstone game earlier this season and the goalkeeper for them was dreadful

If he does well and can get a loan to League Two to get regular minutes next season then hopefully he will be ready to come into our squad by the time Wayne decides to finish. I'd rather see Barden in the squad than Tom King moving forwards

Did anybody watch the game? Sounds like he made a couple of good saves. Starting week in week out in the national league could be massive for him and for us! He's only 21. Definitely our best goalkeeping prospect

Joined Swindon Town (League 2) on loan for the season. Not sure if he'll be starting or not.
