Good to see we’re all ticketed up so time to start planning where to drink and get to the stadium etc Tram 22 runs from the historic centre to the ground so drinking along that route pre-match makes sense. Vinohradsky district is about a 20 min walk to the ground so that’s another option, plenty of bars and places to eat around there. Pre match party organised by Leigh James and Gol Cymru at The Dubliner close to the main square I think. Starts at half 2, bit of a charity fundraiser going on too

You guys come to the capital of good beer and land yourselves in the biggest tourist trap with beers x2 normal price. There's plenty of pubs close to Eden still just over £1 a pint. Above Bohemka there is some bars doing good food as well. Not far is the vegan pub. Don't be influenced by the tourist trail when there's lots of decent places at normal prices closer to Eden

Thanks for the tips. Any recommendations for non-tourist trap areas in Prague 1? That’s where most of us will be staying so would be good to know for after the game.

I see the information issued today by the FAW ticket office says a FFP2 mask is required in Czech Republic. Not something I’d picked up on before and wonder whether this is enforced or not.

Excuse my ignorance, but if I fill in the locater form and put down I live in England, to avoid paying for a more expensive test, how would the powers that be know?
If anyone is driving to Stansted (from South Wales) as well, on Thursday and back on the Sunday and wants to cut costs I’d be happy to share petrol.

When I fly back into the UK, I assume you just do the test on day 2 and post it back, and that’s that? Will they ask for proof of having purchased the day 2 test upon arrival back in the UK? Again, excuse my ignorance, not left the country since this bollocks all started.

Firstly when you book day 2 test from either these providers they will give you unique code to put on your locator from thats proof you purchased it. you will not be asked for any proof i havent As for returning with randox you have to drop sample into one of theyre drop boxes look on there website to see if you have one local there ones in Wales or you can sent it back at your own cost through royal mail but it has to et tehre in time so drop bix better With eurofins they just keep sample at sampling station its like click and collect you turn up at time they give you kit you do smaple put into sealed bag and thy keep it to go to lab

I'll be using expert medicals as I did when I went to Malta a few weeks. Typically I looked at the reviews only after I'd booked it and they were awful. In practice it was all fine and only cost £ 28 so no reason not to use them again.

I'm just doing the Passenger locator form for Czech now. Tips: Put Praha in the City field.(provided you are staying in prague obviously) and then a number like this for the land registry number: 610/10 plf.uzis.cz/

They’re still off the list, 28 quid down the swanny then I take it? They don't have to be on the list according to that article and are still valid for travel. You will have your test reference that you need to complete your locator form when coming back. I've used them in September at about the time they were removed from the list. They performed better than the outfit the Welsh Government made me use when returning from Azerbaijan and were £ 142 cheaper ! I've just booked them for the return from Prague. Gutted but I'll have to give Tallinn a miss.

Any issues at Borders with passenger locator form? No straight forward. Checkpoint of passenger locator form and COVID pass first and then normal passport control where they also wanted to see COVID pass. Very efficient and quick, no big deal.

I’ve seen some advice saying FFP2 masks are mandatory in the airport and others saying it’s only recommended and the standard UK surgical disposable are fine.

No issues, lots of people on my flight didn’t have a FFP2 mask. In Prague Czech people where they are wearing masks they do tend to be using FFP2, but some people aren’t wearing any and I haven’t seen anyone being queried.

To check in with Ryanair they’re asking for Covid documentation, is this mandatory or will a paper and proof of vaccine on phone be enough?

Not sure what you mean by ‘a paper’ but either an electronic or paper version will do. They asked for both COVID pass and passenger locator form when I flew from Stansted

Ryanair when checking in on their app ask for covid documentation, did you also upload your proof of jabs to that?
