Can you imagine if he also learns to use his physicality / becomes a bit nastier (I know the second bit is unlikely!). He's 6ft 4 inches and look at the size of him / his shoulders at 19 (soon to be 20!).
He has decent feet obviously and a football brain according to posts from Cardiff fans. If he gets consistency and have internal drive then he could become a seriously good player

Kid's quality, came off the bench and was nutmegging players in seconds
I hope he flourishes now there's a bit less pressure on him

Was at the game yesterday, he did okay. I think the next stage of his development is for him to really nail down what his position is. Yesterday he played as the second striker, almost in the Dele Alli role. He was pretty good at holding the ball with his back to goal, but felt having Collins up there with him was a detriment as neither were making runs in behind
I also feel if he is to play that second striker role in future it's important for him to be busier and buzzing around more. I felt I could see the potential in his game and what he was doing, but he needed to do it more often to really be involved in the game, a little bit too quiet from him yesterday
I can definitely see him & Davies forming a strike partnership in the future with Davies the runner in behind and Colwill playing just off from him. Btw people in the stadium seem to really love Isaak Davies - seems like a fan favourite already!

Colwill was one of the players who were ill to be fair to him, he may have to become a striker of sorts as it doesn't look like Morison will be using a no.10, Colwill's height should help him though I was disappointed that Colwill came off and Collins stayed on, Colwill offers far more and I'd like to see him with Davies at some point. The way things are going with Cardiff, Colwill & Davies may well be the strike partnership next season. Hugill & Ikpeazu will go back to their clubs and I don't think Morison really fancies Collins. Who knows, maybe James Crole will get a run out?

Colwill was having a better game & I would have loved to see him paired with Davies You're right, I'd happily sell Collins and then have Davies/Colwill as the partnership. Maybe having Crole as the 3rd might be too young of a strike-force? I think I'd like to see us bring in a ready made experienced Championship striker and have Crole be 4th choice forward

"I also feel if he is to play that second striker role in future it's important for him to be busier and buzzing around more." I think that captures my main concern about him very well. Every time I watch him he too often gets a little lost and doesn't play with intensity. It's the one thing you expect from young players breaking through, that they have that fire in their belly and work hard. Obviously different players have different styles, Berbatov famously had that languid style which didn't stop him from being a brilliant player. But too often Colwill lacks intensity and a sense of purpose with and without the ball.

As you say Berbatov made a great career off that style, and I'm sure Rubin has the ability to do it too. But just feel he needs to up the intensity by about 20% and get that bit fitter to be able to do it

All things considered he's doing well so far. It'd be good for him, Davies and Harris all to get a run of games where they're starting more.
I can appreciate games are coming thick and fast at the moment but Morrison seems to chop and change that front line a lot from and outsider looking in perspective none of them particularly nailed on hopefully changes with time as they establish themselves

I can appreciate games are coming thick and fast at the moment but Morrison seems to chop and change that front line a lot from and outsider looking in perspective none of them particularly nailed on hopefully changes with time as they establish themselves Morison talked about needing to rotate in January after he signed all those players. He felt there was too much pressure on the youngsters to carry the team forward, and we were dangerously close to the bottom 3 Since then the signings clearly have taken the pressure off, and now we're closer to the top 6 than the bottom 3 by a fair amount I think given how safe we are now I expect to see Davies & Colwill get plenty of game time for the run in. Probably not both together that often until the final few games Hugill & Ikpeazu will continue to be used to help the youngsters and it's getting good performances out of them at the moment Next season I think it will be Davies, Colwill, Harris plus one more loanee/signing as a striker. Then Crole may well be used as 5th choice when needed *Edit tbf I forgot all about James Collins and Max Watters. I'd personally sell Collins and look at loaning out Watters

Congratulations on your first Cymru goal Rubin: Lol, what on earth is their right sided defender doing here? Nice finish by Rubin and a great setup by Johnson. Them two looked very bright I thought.

I thought RC had a great game last night. Took his goal with real authority. Confidence is very important in any player but particularly for a young lad like him. There were a couple of cameos which showed what a tremendous talent he has. If he continues to develop as he has been then this lad has it all in front of him. He seems a level headed kid that won't get ahead of himself. Great to see. Well done RC.

He should start for Cardiff but Morison's a stubborn prick It's frustrating. Cardiff have little left to play for now we're safe. Play Davies and Colwill for the rest of the season while there's no pressure, give them minutes at get them ready to play a starring role next season The comments comparing Foden to these two are way off. Man City can afford to ease in their young talent because they have star quality across the squad. We don't have that luxury so no comparison can be made. We need to play these two now

If Colwill can shine against Czechoslovakia he should be able to cope against bloody Swansea. I'm not writing off Morison just yet but he's got to wake up and smell the coffee, it's glaringly obvious what he needs to be doing with certain players and he should be absolutely embarrassed with the way they lost yesterday. Part of me wants Cardiff to follow the Bilbao model and turn the team into an all Welsh side, I think that's been mentioned on here before and I'd be all for it, give the club a real identity. People would point out the wrongs with it but they celebrate it in Spain.

Would take years to transition towards it, and I'm just not sure the owner or fans would be that interested in doing it It would be a tough thing to achieve, the fact Bilbao are a sustainable top flight club with that model is remarkable

Non Welsh youth players coming through that understand the club and have a certain pride about representing Cardiff City would be good enough I think. I did this on LMA Manager 2007 on the Xbox and I ended up dominating Europe with Lewin Nytanga becoming one of the best defenders in the World and John Oster becoming deadly into his 30's!
