Dan Williams starting in midfield for Swansea. First time I've noticed him - 20yo and with 14 caps for our u19. Another one to keep an eye on

He impressed in pre-season even before Martin came in, but I think he's well suited to the style of play he'll want to play so could have a big season for us.
We've signed Flynn Downes in midfield, so at the moment there's plenty of competition for him with Grimes, Fulton, Smith and Walsh - but there's a few injury prone players in there and we're playing with three in midfield.

There's a few others who are in and around their respective first teams playing at less attractive clubs in the EFL who haven't been called up who are getting get time time in senior mens footy despite their age. The likes of Scott Smith (Wigan Athletic) , Callum Jones (Morecambe) and Tom Pugh (Scunthorpe United). Probably don't have higher ceilings than the ones playing for elite academy sides which is fair enough Dan Williams on the other hand I can't get my head round. He does genuinely get minutes at a decent level for a decent outfit. I cannot think of reason for not having him involved. |

Got an assist as well as the goal. With Swansea through to the next round hopefully he’ll get another chance to impress

Do any Swansea fans think Dan will get a look in for Swansea this year?
How’s he doing after his loan last season? At 21 you’d imagine he’d be pushing for regular minutes. Possibly a loan move to League 1?
