Wouldn't book anything yet. The Ukraine war might see the NL games moved to November and the playoffs taking that weekend up.

Jet2 have just suspended flights to Krakow until late May because of the war and will only introduce a phased reintroduction afterwards.
Know Krakow and Wroclaw are far apart so not many would have booked flights to there but hopefully it doesnāt spread. Maybe they have extra info but does seem overkill to cancel flights to a peaceful country that doesnāt go over the warzone.

Iām with you on this, I was surprised when I heard this announcement from Jet2 this morning. There official explanation is a ālack of demandā but Iām sure there must be something else to it.

Our group is considering doing this trip to Wroclaw by train.About half our aways have been done by rail, including Warsaw in 2000.Makes even more sense in the current situation,IMO.

Who wants to goes on holiday to a country next to a war zone? You going to guarantee that this is going to spill over to neighbouring countries? In many ways it already has. Would you risk your flying multi-million pound investimate being brought down MH17 style by trigger-happy Russians? Much easier for them to change their flights to say, the South of France, than to risk all that.

My Ryanair flight to Krakow in late May is still going ahead, but I doubt I'll be going there now before WrocÅaw. Hoping Ryanair cancel, but not holding my breath.

Looks like the Poland game will be postponed ( according to Polish media reports) How you interpreted one person (Polish team coach) saying "this match may not happen" to mean that it looks like the game will be postponed according to media reports (plural), I will never know. It was plain and simple what was said and who said it. Please stop hyperboling an already anxious set of circumstances!

So shall we just ignore the opposition manager telling the media that ā we will probably not witness the match against Wales,we will see if we can play Netherlandsā . Itās a good job Wonky sheep have have not taken your stance. They have stopped taking payments for the Poland game which is very sensible I feel given the circumstances.

No he didn't say "we will probably not witness the match against Wales". The Journo's wrote that. You know, the people that are paid to write headlines so that you take notice, buy their paper or click on their links. A (translated) transcription of the interview is here - www-rmf24-pl.translate.goog/tylko-w-rmf24/poranna-rozmowa/news-czeslaw-michniewicz-jest-szansa-ze-zagramy-u-siebie-z-brazyl,nId,5936080?_x_tr_sl=pl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc#crp_state=1 And this what this is about. You have taken a comment made to one Radio station interview of "this match might not happen" and posted " looks like the....game will be postponed". Posts based on hyperbole like this just aren't helpful.

I interrupted this as the game is definitely in doubt.obviously wonky sheep feel exactly the same hence them ( sensibly) stopping taking payments on the trip. If you feel different thatās your choice.
