Shambles this. Zero benefit of categories, got people who've never been to a game who have got tickets already. It's a lottery Surely the FAW Priority access codes count for something?

It's a lottery But if you're FAW stage 1 you'll 100% get a ticket today - those in who have got tickets are the general sale ones. But I agree that they should have done the FAW sales separate to the general sale today - we're all sat in a queue with the rest of the world for no good reason

If you managed to get thru before me you have pickings at general sale tickets that you can buy even if you've never been to a game or are a fan of another nation who fancies a game

I think the biggest frustration is we're unnecessarily being lumped in with the rest of the world when its not our fault that we're in the last cohort of nations to qualify.

Who knows what tickets are left when we get to them “We” being fans in priority or your group specifically? Even if every stage 1 buys a ticket there will be some for stage 2 Unfortunately general sale is general sale. More tickets should be made available for each association but then even England have sent tickets back so what do I know

Calm down ch7
The FAW access codes are for our allocation behind the goal. The people in this thread with tickets already got them in the general sale and will be sat elsewhere in the ground.

I know that but what's the chances of having to pay for cat1 in FAW when general sale luck themselves to cat3 As per above, the FAW tickets are protected so the Cat3 allocated to the FAW will be sold to Welsh fans only based on loyalty If people are saying cat 3 is sold out then that is the general sale only General sale cannot acces FAW allocation

They won’t. Cat 3 is behind the goal so there's a very good chance they’ll be next to/near the FAW allocation

What Ch7 is saying makes sense. There are those who’ve never been to a game who’ve bought Cat 3 tickets for £55 through general sale and will be behind the goal, more than likely very close to the FAW allocation.
There will be those who are in any stage of the FAW allocation who may end up spending £130+ per ticket despite being more committed over the years.
And it’s all because Putin invaded Ukraine and so we qualified later than nearly everyone else… and because FIFA only allocated tiny amounts to loyal fans.
The whole system is completely unfair but there we go. Nobody said a World Cup in Qatar was going to be moral and just did they.

General sale, by luck, have tickets that stage 1 holders want and may not be able to get

This is a FIFA issue though not allocating enough to the associations as I pointed out above. Even then England fans have returned tickets….

Just got in at midday. Using the Phase 1 codes I got cat 3 for all 8 possible games, just for myself. Just over £1500 appeared on my credit card, but I got exactly what I went for. A lot of information to be entered and confirmed, and it was stressful after queuing for 2 hours, but fairly smooth. Glad that’s over!
