Am I right in thinking our players take a number when they first join the squad, and then keep that number semi-permanently?
Dan James & Ethan Ampadu are regular starts yet have numbers higher than 11 consistently. I'd imagine if Bale were to retire then the no.11 would go to someone else - but are we operating this formally as in the jersey gets passed over to the next in line?
I don't think this has ever been discussed

Up to them as individuals probably. 14 is also CR’s Burnley number. Neco could’ve worn his club number 7 but stuck with 3.
Brennan was number 9, previously a favourite of Tyler who wore Rambo’s 10.

I don't think this has ever been discussed Nah, I think it's just player preferences with each squad meet-up. I've definitely seen other players wearing the 8 that Smith had yesterday for example. Pretty sure I've seen Wilson and Ramsey playing with 10 recently too. |

Nothing will ever beat the Kappa numbers and letters. I think players like Roberts, Moore and Ethan have a preference and that's why they wear those numbers.
