Fair point! Iโd like Page to look at Taylor-Clarke, Savage, Lowery and others, I do feel like we need to add to the depth in midfield. |

This is good, the more Welsh born decent players coming through the better, we don't want to be relying on grandparents forever, which has often been the case just to get certain positions filled.

He is a former pupil at Ysgol Gwynllyw. He is potentially the 1st black Welsh-speaking player to represent our national side. I am not sure I can quantify the positive impact that this would have on the language other than it would be very exciting. I know that mixed-race players such as Ben Cabango using the language has been really brilliant. I will have to ask work colleagues who are season ticket holders at Ashton Gate to tell me more about him.

One thing though. Surprised that he didn't get a call up etc... Take it he meant the U21s rather than the Seniors?
If he did mean the latter, bit premature after a few senior appearances? Why hasn't he played for us at the age group levels?

Omar was a member of the Wales Under 17 squad in the Autumn of 2019.
The squad qualified for the Elite round in March 2020. Those matches never got played of course
