I like that lineup but I think Ramsey and Wilson in midfield just didn't work at the World Cup and I'm reluctant to go with that again Fair point. But in the past when it's failed it's been because they've both been playing as 8s and both ended up too far up the pitch leaving Ampadu alone in midfield. I'd like to see Ramsey play deep in a midfield two, basically playing the Allen role. I believe that's where he's been playing for Nice? That way Wilson can play as the 10, where he's best imo. Yeah I guess that would work better. I'm all for a more progressive lineup in midfield |

Looking at the bench I can see why we're unchanged... but at the same time this is what messed us up in the World Cup, underperformed and unchanged. Pick someone, anyone, throw them in and bench someone to send a message. Cymru is such an easy ride for an established player. Barely touch the ball and it's same again next week. *I know Croatia were semi finalists*

what does everyone hope for in the other game,i'm guessing with croatia the top team in the group a croatia win? be interesting if the turkish crowd make a difference because they can be crazy but they have been a weird team these last few years.

L atvia did score twice in dublin so they know how to score and we do struggle in games like this against georgia belarus etc,need a goal or two or this will be torture,wheres kit symonds when you need him

Impressed with Wilson and Ramsey so far, Roberts and James have been wasteful, James needs to get into the box and make them panic, they're scared of him, they're tripling up on him at times.

hate to say it but they seem like a team set up better than us,a team to frustrate ,when we get up the pitch i'm seeing white smothering red,early days yet though and a goal will change that but it's clear they have come for a draw,pretty obvious really though
