Some decent looking prospects here. Hopefully we’ll see some in the full squad.
Not sure if there’s injuries or potential transfer deals or whatever but surprising omissions for Aaron Collins, Regan Poole and Issak Davies.

Wes Burns another notable omission.

Wes Burns another notable omission. Yeah, especially as he’s almost certainly higher up the pecking order than some of these in the squad. Luke Harris is in the same situation. We also know that Paul Mullin has a pre-booked op coming up otherwise he might have had a look in. As I said earlier, it’s just an unofficial training camp,I think fitness levels, niggling injuries, amount of games played and consideration for which players need rest and which need fitness has very much come into the decision making here. It’s not simply ‘here are our best 34 players outside the Premiership’

Good to see tom hill in there!
This is confirmation for me that Mullin has not yet proven he's eligible

Would have personally liked to see;
Regan Poole Tom Lowery MJ Williams Gethin Jones Andrew Hughes Aaron Collins Declan John Ed Turns Owen Evans
Although you never know the reasons why some can't attend I suppose. E.g Niall Huggins probably too close to his playoff game etc...
Pleased to see Taylor-Clarke, Hoole, Savage & Farrell involved. I always enjoy hearing about these camps as we normally seem to find 1 or 2 gems out of them!

If there's been a development since then I'd love to read about it You're right in 2021/22 Mullin said he was eligible, but no proof had been provided to the FAW. Reading between the lines he wasn't considered for a call up at that time, so eligibility didn't need to be checked. As the calls for a call up grew this season (I believe end of 2022 / early 2023) I believe the FAW started looking into it and that's when it came out that Mullin hadn't actually registered any formal paperwork. That's probably where you saw DS confirm that he wasn't confirmed eligible at that time, and this was also widely shared on social media The below is the update since then

Wes Burns (illness) and Ed Turns (niggling injury)

Think both he and Terry Taylor will hit the ground running when they get their chance. A shame it's been delayed for both due to injury!

I didn't mean an actual article but either in the eligibility, Croatia or Mullin thread a user posted saying a source at FAW said they have received no proof from Mullin that he's eligible after he claimed to be. Who knows what's true maybe like Moore there's difficulty finding the birth certificate? Maybe like Wildig he just got it wrong or maybe Page thinks he shit. Interesting to read he was scouted though

Sheehan) would have been potential play off final commitment ( they haven't now) plus MJ and Sheehan contract expiry so possibly looking for a new club injury free ( they aren't now, new contracts), Guess the same goes for Regan Poole.

I didn't know anything about the Swansea youth goalies, but a quick google and now I understand that Evan Watts was previously out for three years due to injury, returning to play in 2022, and Ben Hughes came out of the blue to beat having not been on the Jacks' radar originally.
I really hope at least one of them makes it to a really good level but there is still such a long way to go for these youngsters.
I do like the senior players who have joined up. All seem to be good personalities and pros.

Thought experiment - picking a lineup out of the players involved in the camp & wondering if we'd beat quite a few international teams with this team...
Davies Connor-Cabango-Fox-Ashworth Morrell-JJ Sorba-Cooper-Broadhead Bradshaw
Bench: Hoole, Ashworth, Beck, Taylor-Clarke, Savage, Colwill, Cullen

I would say that side is bottom championship / top L1, so they'd be competitive, but they wouldn't get close to qualifying!
