Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but I couldn't see it in the Cymru Premier thread or anywhere else. Newport County have signed Penybont left midfielder Nathan Wood www.newport-county.co.uk/news/20232/june/nathan-wood-signs-for-newport-county/

Nathan is 26 and Joined Penybont in 2019 from Undy. He's also a Wales C international. As a player late to the pro game let's hope he kicks on like Steve Morison and Kieffer Moore. What ever happens well done to him. It's wonderful to see a player coming from the Cymru Premier and being signed by a pro club and especially a Welsh one. Hopefully a sign of things to come as Penybont and Pontypridd really do seem like the leagues best place teams to recruit and develop players and put an end the TNS dominance.

Fair play to Newport who seem to pick up players from the Cymru Premier. Glad to see they are scouting it and see it as a viable league to look at to pick up players

Goosd stuff. Sounds like he was part of their academy setup, so must be rewarding to come back full circle, hope he does well.

How have Newport fans rated Will Evans? Remembering him getting on scoresheet early on, but didn't hear much about his performances since. Seems to be prominent in their marketing for new season / new shirt etc.
