Just announced on the Cymru twitter page x.com/Cymru/status/1783073406227030238Not the most challenging game but has the potential for a great summer trip. Being played at the Estádio Algarve, 30,000 capacity so tickets shouldn't be a problem at all.

There are no direct flights between Cyprus and the Iberian Peninsula ;-(
I imagine that the Blazers are charting a yacht ...
Can just hope that the young guns make it at least to the semis ;-)
... That said ... the only two direct flights from Faro to Budapest and Vienna are starting to sell at silly money - so must be a few lads on this trip! The only cheapish departure airport is Seville to Vienna / Budapest / Prague.

The only cheapish departure airport is Seville to Vienna / Budapest / Prague. Saw the same bonkers flight prices from Faro. Already booked for Slovakia anyway, would have considered changing if the flights were reasonable. Poor show from the FAW to announce this game so late. Together, Stronger, but you’re not coming on our rather splendid plane.[/quote] It's like 58 all over again H.

dragonsoccer have confirmed that KO is set to a very reasonable 5pm. This makes public transport really accessible as well as opens up the option of using the SEVILLE flight on the evening after the match. Makes sense to me to stay the night of the match in Seville - but Huelva will certainly be cheaper. An uber from stadium to Seville is around €120. Flixbus can take you from FARO to SEVILLE via HUALEVA at 8.10pm for ONLY €12 ... An Uber from the Stadium to Faro bus station costs about €7... Remember that Spain is one hour ahad of Portugal... Ryan Air Seville to Vienna on Friday at 7pm is still only €70!
Gibraltar FA have announced ticket prices at ... £30 ...

Gib are playing Scotland 3 days prior also. £30 a ticket is a bit tasty £15 in the East Lower not too bad for a friendly.

The Leigh James bus from Albufeira is sold out. I’m good with our group of 4 but know of 4 more looking. If anyone knows of any organised transport it would be hugely appreciated.

My understanding is that Leigh is trying to sort extra bus. Suggest that you put your names & other group forward for waiting list.

Bit the bullet and bought a ticket for this too. Quite a bit of cost having already booked flights for Slovakia, hopefully be a good atmosphere out there.

I’m staying in Faro for this. It’s way too far to walk. Anybody know the score on public transport to / from the stadium?

Here's the link on trains www.cp.pt/passageiros/en Looks like its about a 20 minute walk from the station. I asked as there are some reviews on trip advisor (admittedly quite old) from a previous friendly match saying fans were stuck without public transport after the match and taxis were few and far between. I have now read on one unofficial website that they run buses from Faro - but not sure if this is planned for our match.

Just received the email from the FAW that we won't need to collect tickets in person Saves a taxi from Albufeira just for that.

Just a quick heads up, before I forget... Bristol airport (as well as Gatwick?) have already implemented the FREE LIQUID policy - no longer needing to separate liquids (or electronics) - just leave it in the hand luggage... Just as China and India were able to do back in 2017 :+)

Stansted is the same. Going through security was a breeze.

Sat in Gatwick atm, so far no delays announced, so should (hopefully) be fairly smooth to get to the game.
