Interesting one as seen on @dragonsoccer. Jack Karadoğan 20 y.o. central midfielder previously of Pontypridd has signed for Turkish 2nd tier side Şanlıurfaspor.
Interesting one to follow next season if he can get games for them. Not sure on the standard but can't be that bad.
Ex Wales youth and Newport County. Has Turkish heritage

A player with Turkish heritage moving to Turkey may suggest one thing...
But not necessarily, we hope he has a good time of it to draw himself into contention, and doing well is good for Cymru Premier's reputation regardless.
I am increasingly a fan of Welsh footballers experiencing football abroad and learning through this process.

He's a Welsh speaker, so you'd imagine he has a pretty strong Welsh identity. One to keep an eye on given his age.

I wish him well whatever it may/may not lead to.

We had another chap of Turkish heritage some years back (from Rhyl?). Think he went to one of the big clubs (Man U?) as a youngster then just disappeared.
Name escapes me.

He was at Denbigh Town last summer didn't play. Don't think he's played since. Josh Esen ex Llanelli now at Wolves also of Turkish heritage.

Another from our academy who was released without being given any game time. Hopefully uncle Huw will be fixing that strategic choice.
