.................Bale was unavailable for Wales against Luxembourg and three days later played a blinder for Spurs against Man City.
Redknapp said in the Telegraph that "we all wish he was English"

Much as I love a good conspiracy, to be fair to Bale and Blake they pulled out late on after having turned up to train with the squad. They would have been assessed by our doctors and whilst I bet they were perfectly fit, it was probably decided not to risk the endless grief if either of them agravated their 'injury' in a non-qualifier (I refuse to use the word "meaningless").
Much more interesting is the likes of Evans who picked up that ankle knock and pulled out and then played for Sheff Utd the following weekend. Did he even turn up to be assessed?

Storm, I was at Cardiff City v Sheffield United and saw Ched Evans pull up injured and get treatment on his ankle. I also saw him limp off after an hour. He turned up with the squad and the FAW doctors said he should return to Sheffield to get treatment. Ched was definitely injured.

Fair enough, I saw the injury- although it didnt look too serious and he ruled himself out almost as soon as the game was over. I expected him not to play against QPR and was surprised to see he did. At least he turned up then.

nothing to see here.
bale was checked out by our doctors, Tosh probably would rather bale get some top level form with spurs, than take a risk in what was a low key game.
absolutely no doubting bale's comittment to us.
redknapp, as usual, was spouting his tabloid little englander crap. no surprise there.
