what an odd decision. im no expert on bulgarian football, but i cant believe that it wil help them in any shape or form for him to retire. good news for us though.

thats the first time in ages ive heard the words 'retired' 'international' and 'football' without it being followed by the words 'wales' 'toshack' and 'bust-up'

This is absolutely brilliant news for us. I know Berbatov gets stick for some of his Man U performances (a lot of it unfair imo) but his goalscoring record for Bulgaria was phenomenal- 48 in 77 games- their top scorer of all time. Strange as it is, I'm absolutely delighted he's calling it a day at this point!
