Shame this score could never happen now but against a midfield of Gerrard, Lampard (two of the best three midifleders in the Wordl) and Wayne Rooney up front then no chance. at The End of the day you have to admire them.

Nice radio show. But that Jackson is one of the most tedious presenters you can imagine. He sounds bored to tears when he's talking about what was an unbelievable football match.

Shame this score could never happen now but against a midfield of Gerrard, Lampard (two of the best three midifleders in the Wordl) and Wayne Rooney up front then no chance. at The End of the day you have to admire them. It's about as likely to happen now as then. The gap between England and Wales, while considerable, is probably at its least impressive for a while, probably since 2004. They have quite a few weak/weakish areas (goalkeeper, right-back, centre-back if they have one or two injuries, left midfield.) I'm not saying we'll beat them 4-1, more that it was a freak scoreline back then and I wouldn't totally rule it out this time. Most likely result would be a narrow (1-0, 2-0, 2-1) win for England, but you never know....
