OK. So me and my lazy ways decided not to get involved on the Silver or Gold membership scheme.
Dear Michael, There will be no tickets on general sale, only to Gold or Silver members of Wales Supporters Club. Tickets are only on sale until tomorrow, when I confirm final numbers to the Swiss FA. Best wishes Lucy
I have booked flights to go to Switzerland, and tomorrow is the deadline to get tickets.
Tickets for the Swiss game can be bought in the home areas with their version of ticketline. But you have to buy them with the England game.
Disaster. Ah well, go out there anyway.

Start of the ticket problems/ segregation caused by the welsh faw by requiring fans to be members when there are minimal numbers travelling

this is a joke,we rarely sell out our allocation which is usually 10% of the stadium so why the big deal about it now?could it be the faw are still trying to pin people down to paying cash to join their shitty and unnecessary club because they know it can get england tickets through it? i emailed them recently as i hadnt received away forms for basle and i was informed i had been banned from the list and they wouldnt sell me tickets for home or away matches....yet they still took my money for the gold card scheme i used to take between 50-90 tickets each home match and anything from 10 to 20 for away matches, they even used to call me with offers for home matches etc im not sure what i should do next,im inbetween knocking it on the head or carrying on

As long as there is a database to record which ticket got sold to who (which I guess would be standard practice for the benefit of police and travel authorities) then making people jump through further hoops for the benefit of making a further few quid is only going to deter people from making spur of the moment travel plans and mean even less people are likely to go and support the team. What was wrong with the home/away datababase system? Bloody gold/silver/bronze system is ridiculous.

Surely it should be possible to get tickets through the Swiss FA? That said, I agree that the gold/silver membership schemes are a cynical move by the FAW to maximise revenue, which is why I didn't buy into them.

So we can't sell more of our allocation because we are not members, I believe that I can't buy a ticket for the Bulgaria game. The FAW can f*ck off right off. Happy to turn away fans because of some stupid scheme.

With regards to the membership scheme, when it says "on a one ticket per member basis", don't the applications you usually get through the post before the games allow you to get up to 4 tickets?

Ahh I see, thanks for clearing that up! What's the best email address to contact someone regarding the membership?

One of ours might not be going now so we could have a spare ticket.
