Should have gone with this team: ----------------------Hennessey------------------ Ricketts----Williams---------Collins------Gunter -------------------------King--------------------- -------------Edwards--------Ledley---------- Bellamy--------------------------------------Bale -------------------------Ched--------------------
*Feed the Ched and he will score .

Wouldn't have made much difference at all really, your midfield is pretty much the same as the one that struggled to complete a pass all night, bar king who would have at least afforded more protection.
To be fair we could have tried any number of combinations of players and formations- the simple fact is that too many of our players did not turn up/are rusty from lack of football, and a team like ours can't get by with just bale as our main threat and everyone else trying manfully to make up the numbers.
I couldn't for the life of me pick an XI for the Bulgaria game. Maybe we should try something radical?

I couldn't for the life of me pick an XI for the Bulgaria game. Maybe we should try something radical? Agreed. Let's get rid of the deadwood and give youth a chance...... Oh. We did I guess have one or two missing (Collison, Ramsey maybe) - but that's pretty much our first 11, in more or less a system I'd favour. No idea what we do as I have no idea what "something radical" would be. - 2 strikers, with Bellamy, Ramsey and Bale roving. All out atack I think - at least would give us some entertainment.

We don't need radical change. Just tell the ****ers to play for their country as they play for their clubs. The team we had out last night was good enough to win, but let us down. They should have the chance to make up for it by beating Bulgaria.

man for man how many of the montenegro players would you have swapped for the welsh?
maybe their striker (can't remember his name vukevic maybe?) for morison. apart from that none of them. they need some passion injected into them and toshack can't do this. it should be enough motivation when you put on the welsh jersey to go out and play you're heart out but you get the impression something big is a miss. I think the players are afraid do not do exactly as tosh says because they think he will argue with them and probably not let them play for wales again.

I don't think it was effort we were lacking- it was the application. It looked to me like a league one match and the first half was all about kick and rush from both sides when all we needed was the likes of ledley to get his foot on the bloody ball and pick out bale or Bellamy with a decent pass. Mind you bellers would probably only have spooned it over the bar- he was ver very poor which I found unacceptable considering it's fair to say that the montenegrans were hardly better than the Doncaster and luxemborg define es he terrorised
