Thanks for the welcome.
The fact that I didn't pick Robbo, probably says a fair bit. I have always liked Earnshaw, but he barely played for the Caps. As a Town supporter as well, I did like Williams, good midfielder who played for the club for years and liked to get stuck in.
I am actually not from Vancouver, but there are the nearest Canadian MLS side. I'm from the middle of Canada, but Vancouver is gorgeous, as is most of the PNW.
Canada actually held the Euro 84 champions France for 79 minutes and lost 1-0 in our World Cup debut. We did lose 2-0 to Hungary and USSR.
Optimism seems to be high this time around with lots of new supporters getting on the bandwagon, but as a supporter who has suffered for decades, I just hope we score a goal!

I just hope we score a goal! This was the attitude we had going into Euro 2016 and it served us very well. Once we achieved that it felt like everything was a bonus & there was no pressure on us - everything else vegans feeling possible as we took it step by step. Hope to see Canada do well!

Where do you live in Canada?

I've also driven across Saskatchewan a couple times as I lived in Alaska for a bit. Went through Saskatoon, not Regina. The people seemed nice, but that was about as boring a drive as you'll find.

But I’ve been there. Also spent a night in Medicine Hat , Alberta. Like Mike Jones I’ve also drive through Saskatchewan a couple of times. Once I went from Montreal to Vancouver. People warned me how boring Winnipeg to Alberta would be.... I did not listen

Rather unfortunate childhood nickname as result of being a Jenkins. However, it's never taken on message boards which is a plus!
