Why do people still pick Savage in their Wales XI on this forum? Have you not seen him play since 2004?!

Savage wouldn't get anywhere near mine! I was frustrated when he kept getting picked before he had his sulk.

Erm.... hold on now, don't put words into my mouth!!! ;D If we're talking current XI then I'd rather Ramsey, Collison or maybe even Joe Ledley (I find him to be little more than average, personally...) - I'd like to see what Joe Allen or Andy King could do for us. We are missing a bit of a dog in the middle of the park though, I suppose. Ashley Williams anchoring the midfield like he did for Tosh an option? Depends on the formation employed I guess.

All depends on the role, and both are different players. If we had space in the side for a headless chicken with passion then I'd have him in. Could still be worth a squad place if we needed someone to raise the tempo, but I doubt it. ( not seen him play for 6 months though)

Ive heard Savage is back in form. Every great footballing side still needs a guy who can add some bite in the midfield. Montenegro wouldnt have taken the liberties that they did with Savage in the side thats for sure.
As trendy says though, if he cant last 90 minutes that may not be of any use to us.

Didn't stop Cardiff putting 6 and 4 goals past Derby with Savage as defensive midfielder. I have seen Savage play 4 times in the last 2 years.
