I know he's a bit past it now, but could Lee Trundle play for Wales considering he has played most of his footballing career in Wales?

No. He was eligable and wanted to play for Republic of Ireland (through a grandparent I think) but never received a call up, and proabably never will cos I doubt Trapatoni will be trekking down to Neath any time soon...

5 years of life drawing sounds tidy, but I think it's got to be compulsory education, so the dream of a 39 year old, 20 stone scouser running out on the pitch to represent Wales could well be over I'm afraid...

I've got it on good authority that naturalising Lee Trundle and building a team around him is part of Dean Saunders' pitch for the national team job.

hartson's Idea in his infamous application email (i've not seen it, but i've heard it's doing the round) may well have included a HAT-Attack strikeforce of himself and trundle. weighty.

Why stop there, I hear Gary Lloyd and Andrew Mumford are looking to give international football a crack. They'd certainly give us a physical presence.

Played until fairly recently, was involved in Carmarthen Town's 2005 UEFA Cup season when they beat Ireland's Longford and played FC Copenhagen, and more recently playing for Llanelli. Think he's now retired.
