Right, given that the FAW is giving all its members a free scarf, let's officially declare the Wales v Bulgaria game a Wales flag and scarf night.
If you've signed up for gold membership you should receive a red, white and green FAW scarf in the post - so let's all bring them to the match. I think there are at least four blocks in the stadium that are full of tournament ticket holders / members only. Even if you're not signed up for membership, please bring a flag or scarf.
If you have a Red Dragon or St David's Flag - of any size - then also bring it. Loads of you already do this, but let's see if we can cram as many flags in as possible, like for away games. There is plenty of space for hanging larger flags at the back and front of both the Canton and the Ninian Stand.
Would be great if the players ran out to see a sea of Wales flags and scarves.
Please post below if you're willing to help make this happen.
Anyone from FSF Cymru on here? Could you get the blessing of Cardiff City Stadium and the FAW for doing this?

I have a Welsh flag kicking around somewhere which I'll definitely bring to the game. Think I also have a scarf buried in the deepest depths of my airing cupboard, so I'll have a look for that.
I'll also email Cardiff City asking them to put something up on their website the day before the game telling fans to make it a colourful atmosphere. They probably won't do it but it's worth a shot.

The display of flags is a tradition at Wales away games, no reason we shouldn't do it at home. We've all got a scarf off the FAW, may as well put them to good use - many clubs hold their scarves aloft while singing their "anthems".
Moving the qualifiers to club grounds won't automatically create a good atmosphere - we've got to work at it. A good display of flags and scarves is just one way of adding to that.
The atmosphere at the Millennium was dreadful. Anything we can do to show the the FAW that our club grounds can make better international venues has to be worth a go.

We need to make it hostile. Cardiff showed that it works when Leeds came down for the FA cup.
Does anyone know if we're getting the Canton or Grange for the Bulgaria game?

Rhys
Those of us with the £54 season tickets will probably be in the Canton.
The Grange is the family enclosure.
If you want to be right by the away fans go to online ticketing and select the Ninian Stand blocks nearest the Grange End, £25. Those blocks are almost sold out already.
It tends to be these blocks, plus the centre blocks of the Canton, that have the best atmosphere for club matches.

I'm away mate so I'm missing the game but I was just wondering if it was gonna be the same.
Most people I know, want to swap the Grange and Canton ends around as they believe it's killing the atmosphere.

Most people I know, want to swap the Grange and Canton ends around as they believe it's killing the atmosphere. That won't happen - club happy with layout - vastly reduces policing and stewarding costs. Atmos in South Wales derby and in the 3 home games with Leicester as good as anything you'd get at Ninian. I'd rather 20,000 at CCS than 20,000 in the Millennium. I know there were people who used to stand in Grange End who miss being really close to the away fans - but it's not as if being at the opposite end of the ground suddenly means you can't sing or indulge in a bit of banterwith the away fans
