1st wales game was wales v england in 81 at wrexham..awesome 4-1 win if only i'd known then it was all downhill since lol......great memories tho

Here's the proof llannerch- about 6 and a half minutes in: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAad-dpfy2EJust as an aside, how inspiring must it be for the little Welsh lads- the likes of Joe Allen for instance- to have somone like Flynn in charge to tell the 'day I scored with a header against Brazil' story! Proof that a lack of height won't stop you getting to the top.

I know the game was at Ninian but as the video starts you can clearly hear that 'Cardiff City are the greatest team at football that the world has ever seen' so it isn't a new thing that the national side attracts the club element that puts people off.

In 1985 when Wales beat Spain 3-0 the racecourse must have had a capacity of roughly 400,000....if everyone who says they were there is to be believed!
