I wonder if Owain Tudur Jones rates him from their time at Thistle?

He's only just joined, from Hereford United. OTJ is now at Hibs.

Shame he's already too old for the U21s though.

Cap him as soon as possible? I'm sure Lloyd Isgrove or Tom Lawrence deserve a cap before this kid. Just because they could play for a diff country doesn't mean we should snap them up, you're capped if your good enough.

I'm not sure what more I could do to indicate irony than including a winking emoticon?

Couple of decent games and a handful of forum threads later and he will think he's too good for us and declare that he is keeping his options open. Perhaps we can dangle the carrot of a photo with Bale if he turns up for training session

Its debatable whether hes playing at a higher standard than that Bradshaw lad. What might go agsinst him is that hes more a winger than a forward..we already have a few wingers.. Bale, hrk, g williams, cotterill, lawrence? Gwion edwards? Bradshaw is more a forward so perhaps more likely to be called up... Maybe for the injured church? Worth noting bradshaw scored on his debuts for the u19s and u21s...full debut too?

Hereford fans! you see him Play? What do you think of him? Apparently he's the grandson of the poet Vernon Watkins. Just found this Clip on you tube. Hilarious air-shot but he Looks like a strong runner with the ball: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnemB5Lwwts

We loved him at Hereford, tricky player, very good with the ball at his feet, good vision and he could pick a pass. It was clear that he could play at a much higher level although he joined us from Bath.
Would love to see him in a Wales shirt although he definitely isn't a striker, unfortunately.

Always very sceptical about players who play in the Scottish leagues. Everyone must remember another overhyped player from the Scottish league? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Dorman

My view is they're only worth serious consideration if they're getting regular games for Celtic, else the standard is just League 1/2.

Everyone must remember another overhyped player from the Scottish league? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_DormanI think overhyped is the most overused word on this board. I don't think Dorman was ever 'overhyped' or even 'hyped'... it's just that at the time People were saying he should be called up he was playing well for St Mirren, winning SPL Player of the month etc, and probably deserved a place in the squad at least. This was around the time that non-league Steve Evans was a regular in Wales squads, remember? I can't rememeber anyone claiming Dorman was the next Zidane...

Let's be honest, Dorman was called up as we were looking very very sparse in midfield at the time. Remember him playing, as well as Brian Stock at one point. Although decent footballers, it smacked of desperation really. Shows how good our depth in the squad is now when looking back.

It can't be a bad thing but we seem to have a rash of wide men at the moment and appear from Bale have the others got that sort of quality, certainly George Williams has had a good impact and I would like to see him and Bale on opposite flanks a scary prospect for any defence. Marley has a problem because Gwion Edwards is also in goalscoring form for Crawley. I don't know when the next friendly is but it would be nice for Marley to start up front he has the height at 6ft 1" but that does not mean he is just there to be a target man but he may have the movement in his game to link well with Bale worth a shout perhaps?

Just scored in the Scottish Cup Final. Playing as a out and out Earnshaw style striker.
Weird as I remember him playing as a winger for Bath City

In the bits of the 1st half I saw he looked pretty dangerous, albeit against a Scottish 2nd tier side
