With Collison & Ramsey out I'd have brought him back for these 2 games, especially when we've wasted one squad space on 4th goalkeeper.

if everyone's fit then hes not in the squad for me but i also think we should keep all options open, especially when you have players fit enough for club football but not international football etc

So do you think savage should have been included? Should he learn to keep his mouth shut? No. Yes probably

no he wouldn't get anywere near a fully fit welsh squad. however he adds to the pool of players and with injuries he could,ve added something. imagine we were drawing 1-1 with bulgaria and we braught him on 10 minutes from the end fully fit and just seeing him running around could inspire

I would have Andrew Crofts ahead of Robbie Savage.
He's in form and very unlucky not to be in the squad.

I think Savage is a brilliant character and it may be a good idea to include him just for the banter. Give some advice to the youngsters. We have missed him after the fallout with Toshack.

I've really missed him- he reminded me of Margaret Thatcher in a way- you knew where you were with him. It was being there without a paddle I didn't like.

Flynn hardly snubbed him. He just declined to call him up this time. He said the door was always open.
Savage still has legs left in him, but can't really be more than a backup player for us.

Flynn has some self respect after all unlike many posters on here who are willing to sell off the welsh badge to a deserter who slandered the Welsh manager of the time. Never!

And given how porous our midfield was in Montenegro, anyone who reckons Savage is the answer is asking the wrong question. One thing I will say for Sav is that his agent is doing a fine job. Sav is abso-bloody-lutely everywhere these days. And, in truth, its his media roles of late that have reminded many here about him, nothing football-related

savage hasnt done ne thing wrong here. i think flynn will be pleased to read this, shows passion. hes not having a go at flynn like he did toshack. i think he should be and will be in future squads. He still has the energy levels to be a pain on the pitch. Imagine him coming on for like 25 and just running his socks off winning ball. I know its not pretty to watch him but he does a very good job at being a nuisance
