news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/cardiff_city/9055647.stmHe claims he 'only wanted Bellamy to play 70 or 75 minutes' but had to change those plans after the 82nd-minute dismissal of Blake......well I don't know how his maths skills are but 82 is 12 more than 70 and so I think that comment is pretty much nonsense. He then makes a very generic and unconvincing excuse about Bellamy's knee. Again, if his knee is at risk, why risk him for 94 minutes? It's a poor excuse and the man has no credibility.

"Cardiff manager Dave Jones maintained that Craig Bellamy is unfit for Wales duty despite the forward playing all of the 2-1 win at Barnsley on Saturday."
Dont need to read any more than the first paragraph. Flynn also has to take responsibility, he has made it far too easy. At least just name him in the squad to ensure he cant play for cardiff.

before we judge flynn, we need to hear him challenged by a journalist - and we need to hear some proper answers.

yeah, but thats the point trendy,we havent had proper answers.this could all been avoided if the full picture had been given to us from the start. surely flynn could have come out 10 days ago and said bellamy can only play one game in the next fortnight and cardiff, his club, have decided that that should be a cardiff game and that if cardiff had been playing the same wekend as wales then bellamy wouldnt have played for them either.bellars could have released a statement saying how gutted he is and will be at the stadium supporting the boys(maybr a statement from a doctor backing the story up).flynn could then have said how disapointed he is but understands the situation as bellamy has been a good servant in the past. christ,im no max clifford but that seems a better PR exercise than the current farce that undoes years of patrotism from bellars, makes jones look a tosser and flynn look a pushover.
this one incident alone has lost flynn huge backing from just about everyone i talk to.(admittedly harshly)

Apparently there was no proper reason for Bellamy not to be selected by Wales. According to the DJ interview the omission was to benefit CCFC. It leaves Wales' capital club with no player in the squad. No doubt avoiding injury to Bellamy is to CCFC's advantage, but why does Wales give that advantage to CCFC? Why not the same treatment for SCFC, CCFC's promotion rivals? Why does SCFC have three players put at risk in order to give an advantage to CCFC? These are questions the FAW needs to answer. Better still, Bellamy should be called up. If he announces his retirement that would be fine. From now on I'm a Jack.

Dave Jones' excuses are a load of crap. BUT do not judge Brian Flynn before a ball is even kicked. I remember hearing how Bellamy intimidated all the young players in the squad. So I would rather have harmony in our squad. Even though I absolutely hate what has happened. This upcoming match should be about getting a win, not if some overpaid tosser can be arsed playing or us.
CYMRU AM BYTH!

If Cardiff had a game next weeked would Dave Jones be playing him - of course he would.
These are crucial games for Wales and as captain of Wales I would expect Bellamy to be there to play one of the games or be on the bench and come on if things are not going our way.
After Toshack had gone we had a bit of a optimism going into these games but now we have this and nobody comes out of it well.
