i agree, its no coincidence that davies and gabbs and giggs retired, to prolong their premier league dream, im sick of that, cap wages, give the players central wales contracts.
sad thing is , giggs gabs, davies, savage, should all be in our final 16 players for a game. its a weird position to be in as a fan.

ffwtbol.wordpress.com/Cracking article on Gabbidon. You can feel the anger coming through the computer screen. Well done sir. Just to follow on from that- its said Gabbidon earns 50,000 grand a week at WHU. In the last 3 years how manay games has he actually played for them? I'm going to say about 30, and thats being very generous. So he's earned roughly 7.8 million quid for playing around 30 matches. Thats over a quarter of a million per game. I think he quite fancies doing sod all for 50,000 a week for the next 3 years too and quitting Wales might help him. When people say money is killing football, this is the sort of thing they are on about. Gabbidon used to be my favourite Wales defender of all time. I now hope a lorry runs over his legs tomorrow and he's never able to play football again. What do you care Danny boy? You've still got your squillions in the bank. Cock.

I have said it before and I will say it again, International football is now of very little importance to the masses and I fear it will die a death as a major part of the football scene within the next twenty years. Although it would appear that we have more retirements / pull outs than most this is not a desease on which we have a monopoly. It is happening to a lot of other countries as well, it is just that as they are bigger nations they can absorb the shortfall better then we can. I am sure if someone was to start a thread called "Retired From International Football In The Last Two Years" we could probably amass 100 names between us. Apart from the Welsh 10 or how many it is just without thinking I will start the list with Carragher Scholes Deco Berbatov Ferguson I do not posess a great world knowledge of football and there is 5 without any thought. I am sure people with more interest in the "top stars" will come up with many many more. Have you noticed where all these players listed play? The Premier League. It will be the downfall of international football. They are being paid way too much money, it makes them greedy and turns them into mercenaries. It used to be that as soon as a player quit international football he quit football for good. Now theres these greedy little pricks who dont play for the love of the game but for cash and fame. The quicker they put a wage cap on the greedy little shysters the better. At the end of the day they are kicking a ball full of air and they get paid more than scientists and MP's who are a hell of a lot more important to society than some thick, moneygrabbing little scrag. The other home nations all have premier league players who are not retiring in the numbers, and manner that ours are. I think you have to look at our ranking, 82nd in the world. There is no glory in that. If we were on to qualify for something do you think that Gabbidon and Davies would be angling after the pay-day, or aiming to play in an international tournament before they retire? If anything I could almost respect wanting a pay-day. Its just the complete lack of any belief in Wales qualifying for a tournament that bothers me. Im sure they are only interested in playing for Wales (at that stage of their career) if its going to go somewhere and after one game with a double header against England to come Im sure Gabbidon has looked at it and thought "no chance".

Gabbidon and Davies can go and play themselves silly together as they're both w*nkers!!
I think we should even start a chant on friday with something along the likes of Oh, Danny, Danny, Why dont you....go and fuck yourself Oh, Danny, Danny, Why dont you.....go and fuck yourself Oh, Danny, Danny, Why dont you.....go and fuck yourself !!!!

Any response on twatter from Gabbidon to that article?
I'd like to leave this subject and move on, but before I do, I'd just like to get off my chest that a few things about the timing of the decision bemuse and annoy me.
1- He supposedely disliked Toshack and was 'delighted' when he left. SO why did he wait till a new manager was in place before retiring?
2- He has 43 caps, so only 7 games away from getting his golden cap. I'd have thought that would be something to show the grandkids at least . I mean, whats he won? Nothing. Whats he going to say? 'Who wants to see Grandads FA cup LOSERS medal??'
3- Our next home game after Friday is against England in March. If Gabbidon continues to play for West Ham then the England game might have given him a great chance of proving he's worth a new contract there. Marking Aaron Lennon or Theo Walcott out of a high profile game like that wouldn't do his chances any harm, would it?
Phew..feel better now I've at least got those questions my typed down!

The Montenegrins had a great chant aimed at Bellamy in the last game. All we need to do is change the name to Gabbidon. It goes something like this FUCK YOU Gabbidon, Gabbidon, Gabbidon, FUCK YOU Gabbidon, Gabbidon, Gabbidon, FUCK YOU Gabbidon, Gabbidon, Gabbidon. Jumping up and down whilst chanting also adds to the effect! I'll start it off on Friday. Feel free to join in! ;D

He ignored everyone that sent it to him. He's blocked me on twitter this evening. I only sent one message referring to him, he was on about eating in some expensive restaurant in Knghtsbridge tonight so I just said that it was a shame that a nice meal was important to him than playing for his country. Twat.

Blocked me too. Spineless He also blocked Chris Wathan because of the article he wrote in the Mail. Not that it'll matter that much to Chris as he doesn't have any reason to be in contact with him any longer. Sav blocked me when I suggested that Flynn's mobile being set to answerphone may not have been an accident.
