Gabbidon didn't have the balls to phone Flynn up. How old is he 12? Its absolutely pathetic, the little shit runs to the press about his decision instead of showing Flynn and Wales some courtesy.

We know what Gabbidon thought of Tosh. He also seems to have it in for Flynn. His valedictory does not extend best wishes for Flynn's future. Flynn has made an ill-judged public complaint that Gabbidon didn't contact him before publicly announcing his retirement. But did Flynn phone Gabbidon to check before picking him? Seemingly Flynn didn't contact Stock either. Flynn's complaint should not have been about the insult to him but rather Gabbidon's desertion of the squad. The non-return of Davies and Giggs along with the desertion by Gabbidon and Bellamy indicate a lack of regard fro Flynn among the senior players. Our established players don't want to compete for places, so we're best off without them. It would be appropriate for them to be spared friendlies but not qualification matches.

Whats Flynn meant to do ask every players if they are going to quit before he picks them?

It would be sensible for him to phone players to check on their fitness etc. That would have avoided the selection of an unfit Stock and might have picked up Gabbidon's upcoming treachery.
