Everybodys best moment. / most upset moment

Guys,

over the last 10 years we have some bad and good moments, whats everybodys best / worst moment?


Mine was bellamy scoring the winning goal against italy,
and i got really exited when toshack quit.
Other than that i cant think of much. Altho, the roar when simon davies scored against finalnd away was also good.
Also what about when savage made mincemeat of gattuso and co in cardiff that night.

Worst moment, for me, was when church hit bar / had disallowed goal in montenegro, i really thought we were gonna draw that game. sad.

And in teplice against the cheques a few years ago 90th minute loss, and russia away was hard to take.

Althogh the worst performance was finalnd home, 2nd half was shocking, and made me feel low.


I am predicting a good moment friday night, which could just could, lead to a really scrappy draw in switzerland,
come on wales, now is our time to shine, forget bellamy, giggs etc, its now all about , bale, church , and co. Go wales.

most of my good memories following wales have come off the pitch,its probably the one thing that keeps us going year after year,despite the results there's always fun to be had

italy in the mill stad or germany in the old arms park probably the finest moments,that said i cant remember a better performance than our 5-2 out in slovakia,it was the one time toshack's plans came together perfectly,results in northern ireland were particularly sweet aswell

worst?cyprus matches,slovakia at home,georgiax2...there's more but ill leave it there

Best: Wales winning against Italy
Worst: Cyprus away, both times

Italy at home 2-1 and Azerbijian away 1-1. Although it wasnt a loss I was so gutted cos it was start of a new campaign and we played terrible and they scored a screamer. Earnie missed a sitter on 90 mins too. Italy night was class. Got a ticket 10 mins before kick off by some random guy on the street for face value. Ended up very merry in Kiwis cos it was open late.

Best moments:
Italy home (2002. Won 2-1)
Brazil home (early 90s. Won 1-0)
England u-21s (Ninian Park). Even though we lost! Atmosphere was cracking.
I wasn't there in Wrexham to beat England 4-1, but that must have been AMAZING!

Worst moments:
Finland home (Lost 2-0) Especially coming the day after the England u21s game. Brought everybody down.
Even though i wasn't there, Holland away with Vinny Jones as captain (lost 7-1) couldn't have been good.
Romania 1993?

Just remembered Coyne letting one through his legs in the last minute away in Austria. We hammered them all game, with Giggs and Bellamy playing brilliantly. We just couldn't score. Then that happened. Not good.

Forgot about Belgium but the others are the same for me.
Romania was hard to take, not so much Russia has I had a family crisis at the time, watched the game but it didn't matter.

still got the germany game on video big nevs save from klinnsmann in the last few minutes was amazing,klinnsmann's header from 5 yards out nev got down by his feet to tip it over!!Germans had'nt been beat for years they were the world champs at the time!!!

Best moments for matches I was actually at are probably the whole Italy game and the next best was seeing Ramsey for the first time for the u21s at Villa Park when he scored that absolute screamer.

The worst is between Finland & the 5-1 against Slovakia, even though we didn't play that badly in the latter bizarrely.

Best- Screaming at the top of my voice after the Bellamy goal against Italy. I think I must have lost it completely for a good 30 seconds or so.

I was there for the Sparky goal vs Spain but too young to properly remember it. Honourable mention for the 10 minute period at Villa park when Rambo scored that screamer and then set up Church, which lead to a truly joyous '2-1 to the sheepshaggers!' Shame the score didn't stay that way a wee bit longer.

Worst- The feeling after the Romania game in '93. 17 years on- it still hurts.

Sorry I've just re-read and seen you've put 'the last 10 years'- presumably because you're only about 14 years old? So scrap 'Romania game' and put 'the moment against Finland when Bellars went on a storming run down the left, cut inside, skipped past Hypia, and then looked up to see precisely NO-ONE in the box'...I was screaming 'Near post! near post!!!!' I still don't know if any of our midfielders actually went past the half way line that game? Anyone remember?

From the past 10 years...
Best: the whole trip to Helsinki in 2002, great weekend capped by a great win and great atmosphere among all the Welsh support.
Worst: The 1-1 draw with Finland at the Mill Stad in 2003, a chance to regain the initiative in the group after the defeat in Milan - we wasted that chance.

best moment (Italy 2-1) - genuinely outplaying a top ranked side off the park
worst moment - Romania very closely followed by Scotland 1985
