So we need ledley aswel what a sad comment. For what- making the sandwiches? That said he may be too scared of the knife and back out. Ledley is only needed when our better players- like Allen- are out. He is like Godot- he never arrives and yet the absurdism plays on.

Aside from the Montenegro game last month, I don't recall Ledley having a genuinely poor game for Wales.
And it's a blow to lose any player, when you have a squad as threadbare as ours.

Wales best current players are either from or have played for Cardiff. Joe Ledley isn't among them. Our need for him is determined by the extent of our injury crisis. When fit he doesn't get near the team. Does anyone actually watch him play for Wales? He has had 4 good performances in all that time- and only "good" by his feeble standards. His only ability appears to be not getting injured- which is accounted for by the fact that he is a monumental physical coward on the football pitch. I bet the Montenegro players have christened him "The Human Traffic Cone."

The Celtic fans appear to like him, as do most Cardiff fans despite him leaving their club. Ledley is also widely considered a good player by Wales fans.
That'll do for me.

Saves you the bother of having an original thought, at least. Let's hope Flynnie has a few, however, as will be condemned to repeat the last few years a few times yet.

Ched of Heaven wasn't likely to start anyway. I like Allen, I think he's the natural replacement for Ramsey but he does seem a bit fragile. Always injured. It was reported yesterday that both players were "slight doubts".

There was a time when we couldn't get a decent playmaker for love nor money, now we got Ramsay and Allen, both young, both talented.
Shame about Allen, I was hoping he would start.

Well, Morison is our most in form striker with 6 goals already this season. Rumours all week have been that Church will start, so I don't think Ched would have started anyway. Hopefully he'll be back for the Switzerland game- I think Morison is on a booking so we might need him then.
I doubt Allen would have started either, but its a shame he's only played a few minutes for the Wales senior team due to injuries. He's a quality player and hopefully he'll be OK for Switzerland too.

allen might be more useful against against the swiss anyway, we may need a bit more creativity to score against them than against bulgaria. so hopefully he is ok for that game.

kanu and morrison would be good. but i think kanu and church would make sense. they could have a good partnership considering they both play for the same club.
