My brother was not on any database but wants a Gold membership like I've applied for. I was only on the home ticket database though. Reading the blurb, it looks like he won't be able to apply until July, but is there an email address / contact that anyone has? Last time this happened I didn't realise the "window" was open, then missed out.

Seeing as I can't go to the away matches, due to work, and Uefa's unbelievable decision to arrange games for Tuesday and Friday nights, I'll probably go for the silver deal.
As a matter of interest, does anyone know what the special gifts we'll be receiving are?

As a matter of interest, does anyone know what the special gifts we'll be receiving are? Are adult members getting any special gifts? Apart from discount on the season tickets I'm not sure. I've been told junior members will get a birthday card, inflatable banging sticks, a dragon logobug, Wales window sticker, Euro 2012 fixture card and wallet.

I wouldn't get too excited about the so called 'special gifts'. Do you remember the last one? The incorrectly spelt enamel badge!! Nearly as bad as the tax-disc holder I bought from JJB for a pound with CMYRU written on it!!!

I'm far from excited! More curious...

I notice that you need gold membership to apply for away tickets. Is that really necessary? I cant imagine we sell out of our away allocation at the moment. Maybe for tiny grounds like Windsor Park but not the majority surely?

If you get the reduced rate home season ticket with gold membership, will that mean you'll be sitting with other members at home games? I hope so, one of the first steps to getting more of an atmosphere at home games is to get the people who travel all in the same section. Then we might hear a bit of singing, not just that rubbish 'Wales, Wales' chant for 5 seconds at the start of each half...

Just looking at other nations membership schemes:
The FA's englandfans costs £75 for gold and £50 for silver, but you get £5 off each home match ticket, including friendlies, with £2.50 off for juniors.
I'm not sure how much the Scotland Supporters Club costs, but it's a 35,000 sellout.

It’s easy to pick on the FAW’s blazer brigade and their so-called freebies. But they proved they know a lot more about football than some of the critics.
Heck, some of those FAW members have been on the ruling council and waiting patiently for that moment since 1958 (I’m only joking, gents!)

It might have been a joke paul, but you're actually not far off the mark. There is an FAW counciller in his 90s who's served since the early 60s apparently.
...which is why the FAW is famed for its energy, dynamism and long term future planning.

To be still kicking about at 90 takes a bit of doing...of course he should be doing it on the committee at Cogan Coronation not the FAW, but fair do's though

The savings for members who buy season tickets - compared to full price (FP) or early bird (EB) tickets;
Category 1 - gold - £30 (FP), £10 (EB) Category 1 - silver - £25 (FP), £5 (EB) Category 2 - gold - £26 (FP), £6 (EB) Category 2 - silver - £23 (FP), £3 (EB)
So gold members can save up to £10 compared to non-members who by early bird tickets. Silver members can save up to £6.
It would be good if the FAW were to extend discount to friendlies and under 21 games too though.

Glad to see the FAW have seen sense and introduced early bird prices too - something needed to be done to encourage people to buy tickets in advance. So if you don't want to join the membership scheme you'll still be able to get a home match ticket for £15 (adults) or £5 (OAPs and juniors).

Got the tournament ticket application form today. Seems a pretty good deal price-wise.
Got to ask... why does the form give the option of buying more than one tournament ticket? And why does it ask for the names and addresses of additional applicants?
I thought the whole point of joining the membership scheme was that you couldn't buy tickets for other people. Paid for two lots of memberships to get round that!

Yeah- thought that was a bit weird, especially as you have to put down everyones membership number! Surely all members will be sent forms anyway?

Paid for two lots of memberships to get round that! the option of more than one ticket is so several members can apply on one applications form (there is space for names and membership numbers on the back). If a group of you want to sit together for example. You can't apply on behalf on non-members.
