Just listened to the Slovakia anthem on YouTube. It's not too bad to be honest. A bit oppressive/soviet sounding but it'll certainly rally their troops. Ours is miles better though. Can't wait to belt it out at 2.55pm on the 11th of June. So that's 1-0 Wales even before a ball is kicked. 2-0 Wales with the support. Kick off is 18:00hrs... I admire your 3 hour warm up for it

Plenty of time to lubricate the vocal chords! and back to the thread - I'd prefer to stay silent and, quite simply, show that we are better and more respectful than the Engurland fans

Well if they did boo our anthem first, wouldn't it be great if we could all remain silent during theirs? This would show the whole world what horrible, disrespectful fans England have. Remain silent until after it's finished then sing: N "Get your own ****ing anthem. Get your own ****ing anthem" And then everyone in the ground can have a singalong to that great english classic 'don't take me home'.......

Normally I'd agree, but not for this game. I want the world to know that we dont like it. Also, FWIW it might not be so resounding as we think. There was at least 20 people around me in the NI game singing GSTQ.

I'd like to see everyone just stay silent - let the world hear their anthem right after ours. Like having The Beatles followed by Right Said Fred.

"God save the Queen, you're having a laugh. God save the Queen, you're having a laugh". Effective, and nice.
Why English people sing about a German monarchy, and not England, is beyond me. I know a lot of lads who I grew up with in Aldershot and Barking, despise that anthem. They need to follow Wales and Scotland's anthem ideas.
Myself personally, I am turning my back on it, like I did at the Northern Ireland game. Not exactly a James McLean fan, but my mums family are from Derry, so it has more meaning to me.

I agree turning our backs is a good option
Respectfully disrespectful
