The Arse draw a blank tonight without Ramsey pulling the strings. Better luck next time Jack.

Ramsey - Wilshere. Haven’t we been here before?

Talent doesn't come into it when someone on the fringes of England squad gets compared to another vying for the same position. For Rambo versus Wilshire see Rose versus Ben Davies.

Cracking match last night but Wilshere was largely anonymous. Ramsey would have been centre stage in that kind of encounter.
He’ll be straight back in the team when fit.

I really dislike Wilshere but trying to be as objective as possible, I would say he had a terrible first half but had a good second one. He doesn't come across as a likeable person and I hate the way the media and fans fawn over him, which is the polar opposite of the scapegoat treatment ramsey gets. But, Wilshere does have a lot of talent and could potentially provide real competition to Rambo. When Ramsey's in peak form there is no competition but the problem with Ramsey has always been consistency.

Lots of love for Rambo on Arsenal's Twitter feed, they want him to be captain!
It looks like some of the PL clubs are finally coming around to our lads

Aaron, after you finish abusing Theo and Rob Holding, please remember to congratulate Vaughani, who had a belter, today.
Come on ye County ;-)

Wasn't Wilshere only playing because Ramsey was injured?

Give it another 8 weeks and he'll have another hamstring injury.
Wish he would just get out and move to La Liga.

One goes to bed with thoughts of Aaron and one wakes up with Jack ;-(
Just as bad as going to bed with Hillary and waking up with Donald!

About time an Arsenal blog praised Aaron. I agree that he's been their best player this season and it's not surprising that Lacazette's goals have dried up since his injury.

Wasn't even on bench today. Hope he is being saved for the semi-final v chelsea?
Hennessey actually had a fair few decent saves today, despite the four goals.

From what I've read - he was ill, not injured.

Agree bro , and no fault with Wayne with all the goals it was just bad defending. The Emirates or known as the library is always a strange place to visit, poor supporters who never sing and get behind the team. Are the Emirates crowd all tourists? or all just to posh to get behind the team.

Think Mkhitaryan coming in might end up being a problem for him, especially since that Wilshire seems to be flavour of month again too. He might be better off moving tbh. I sometimes think team like Everton might be good for him.

I sometimes think team like Everton might be good for him. He's too good for Everton and is twice the player Wilshere is. With Ozil moving in the summer Aaron might finally be given a proper chance as the number 10

I sometimes think team like Everton might be good for him. Mkhitaryan isn't a threat to Ramsey at all, he'll slot straight into the role Sanchez played. In fact I can see Rambo linking up with him better than Sanchez, he's much more of a team player than the Chilean soloist.
As for Wilshere

Maybe, just wouldn't surprise me to see him spending more time on bench than we would want, obviously hope not. Their fans don't seem to have the same adoration for him as us tho, Wilshire does a couple decent things then there's a love in.
