My son has provisionally booked us in Lens for a couple of nights , not sure how he managed it but its done . Now worrying that we might be on our own there as most people seem to be staying out of Lens ! Would love to know what you people think !

I should imagine that there will be other Welsh fans staying in Lens. Although I expect that English fans will outnumber Welsh fans 3 to 1 across the whole of Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and even in places like Paris and Brussels. There will be no getting away from them.
At least with a Radnor accent you will be able to pass as English, if you get cornered by 'em!

Think were ever you go en gland fans will be their in big numbers so lille or lens be a vibrant atmosphere , we are all british anyway so not to much trouble i bet, despite some people hating britain , i am proud to be welsh and british . Only thing i hate about england is how patronizing they are to wales saying were not a country or the language is gobbledigook would not say that on their streets wehn polish or punjabi is spoken , but come to wales and disrespect us and are culture . If any england fans disrespects wales i will call them out on it.

Not in the ground, but in small pockets in bars in Paris, Lens and Lille. They have more than their fair amount of idiots and so may we come game time. On the point about being British it is the facts you have pointed out above why I don't want to associate myself with tha lot over the border. Yes there are some that are fine individuals but as a nation they let themselves down

the press will hammers wales and england fans are the smallest of incidents, we have are own idiots to , ie cardiff soul crew and stuff like that , some idiots even traveled with england to cause trouble , but im going back years now. Hopefully not to much trouble with innocent fans , but agree it could spill over , the press will have a field day so hope headlines will be about bale or ramsey not trouble .

The last time we played them a Welsh fan died and their press were blaming Welsh fans.

Have cancelled by hotel booking [free cancellation ] which is 5 miles from town. I met someone who worked there and I understand it is small and not that nice; all I could see near the hotelon google earth was a petrol filling station and a drive - thru Mcdonalds. I imagine taxis will be astronomic with all the English supporters there and the bars will be rammed. Have taken up a booking in centre of Lille instead. The old part of the city is supposed to be really nice and will have a a day in Ghent in Belgium which looks fantastic.

I'll be going from Paris to Toulouse on the Friday. It should be pretty lively there with Sweden playing Italy in the afternoon.

My brother and I have decided to go with gullivers travel for this one. They have a bus going from Wrecsam over night. Gets into France at 8am. We'll watch the game and jump straight back on the bus and home. Really can't be arsed sharing a town and bars with that lot. Too many idiots.
