Also both irish fas have posted allocation details so hopefully ours will soon no split between categories or FYT and single tickets being posted by other FAs just yet Also of interest republic say there are an additional 2000 tickets for theyre football family i.e officials clubs etc but they have said they will try and give some of these to people with proven track record of attendance at fixtures who where unsuccessful Also England say only 1000 for football family so maybe they have put some off theyre extras into theyre normal allocation interesting Question to Corky worth asking FAW can they announce our allocations and try and get splits and also what they intend to do with football family tickets would be good to see them do what the republic have said remember together we stronger time to prove it Attachments:

Yes they are interesting and cover all Wales games too, what you won't see is how many tickets are available in each category, UEFA will not disclose this information at the moment but I would imagine the least tickets would be in Cat 4 the cheapest option.
As for the football family tickets it would depend on how many the players/staff etc required and how many we had offered to us in the first place but its an interesting question and something we hadn't thought about before.
WE do not know the cost of these "football family tickets" are they complimentary? I suppose the most important question is what the FAW decide to do with any spares they have from that allocation...
Another thing that must be at the front of peoples minds is the fact that there are so few tickets and with 14,000 members eligible to apply for two each (28,000) many members are going to miss out.

it should never be 2 tickets per person , a dad can link accounts with his code and suppose he has same loyalty points they will either both get tickets or not so son and dad can still sit togher on one ticket per member. no need for 2 per member, was never 2 a member in qualification , such a low number of tickets 2 per member is crazy , ask members faw no one wants this policy . 2 per member makes a mockey of the system as many non members will get tickets over members.

pretty poor from uefa that can see what they are trying to do but should be up to the hosts , i like that england have moved follow my team aswell , i think faw should do that as solves confusion between tickets then as some are unsure to gable , and if you are on list should be able to pick your category untill it runs out , as can be a lottery applying for cheapest and missing out .

UEFA would love it to be 10 tickets per member if they had their way...their priority is to sell out the stadiums, its their showcase event and empty seats would look bad, so they don't take fans consideration in to account...we are fortunate the FAW managed to negotiate it down to two per member the majority of countries have gone for 4 per member including England and the Republic of Ireland.
It is our first tournament and as fans we know we will sell all our tickets but UEFA won't take that chance and in many countries all you need to be is a resident to apply for tickets, no membership just a free for all...its not perfect but it is what is it

If we were playing at eg Stade de France I think it could be argued sensible as well. Of course we've got 3 reasonably small allocations to sell now and we look like selling them all out, so it would make no sense at all to me that e.g. the first 2500/3000 eligible applicants get close to 100% of the tickets (for all games). Not withstanding the junior members complication, surely the FAW should do their very best to spread the available tickets as far down the loyalty system (whatever they decide that is) under a 1 ticket per member system. Anything wrong with that?

So where will these 2000 tickets go? Also think it's poor that everyone apples for 2 tickets for their mates who have no points. I know my group of 6 who have been away will all be applying for 1 ticket each as the glory supporters can stay at home. Imo. Together stronger may as well go out the window if the Welsh FA give 1500 tickets to sponsors

It's a UEFA policy not FAW Why have England got a different policy of 1 per member then? Both England and the Republic have a different policy but it's not one per member it's FOUR the same as many other countries ,if anyone needs to apply for under 18 who have the correct criteria in their membership they should contact the FAW and they will assist you with that....under 18,s are not allowed to apply independently

Not true corky England have a strickt 1 per person allocation , offer nearly every travel member a ticket for Russia game as they have just over 11 thousand tickets and just over 11 thousand members, fa site states we can give nearly all members a ticket. if you read fa site states away member 75 pounds to join , plus 1 per person .fa would not sayc everyone is almost guranteed a ticket if it was 4 per member , its 1 a member for England, plys they hav got rid of follow my team and have provided full allocation for fans to read !. we have more mmebrs than england. only thing england do not provide is what catergories all tickets are in .

Tbh I'd be a bit worried about applying for two anyway with his other policy that UEFA has if you are unsuccessful, you fail with everything. Not sure if you'd get downgraded to one if you applied for two under that rule!!!!

The FSF campaigned for one per member but uefa only allowed it to be two with most nations agreeing to sell four per member....if fans apply for one or two it makes no difference you are either going to be successful or not, it will not depend on the number you ask for, though morally if members did all just opt to get one that would mean more members got successful but whatever happens and whatever system was put in place at least 6,000 members would miss out due to the small allocations...the system we have in place is far from perfect but it should protect fans who have been members through the last three campaigns and attended many games away and at home....a system had to be implemented and it had to be within what UEFA permitted and we have one.

If you apply for two tickets for a match you will get 2 or 0, you would never be reduced to 1.

from the England Supporters FAQs: "New FAQs answered: Is there any information regarding the price category splits for England’s Group game stadiums? We are pleased to advise that we have received some information regarding the category split for each of our group matches. We have not been provided with exact capacity by category, and are now unlikely to receive this before the application deadline on the 18th January, but we can provide some useful information regarding the category split. For all three matches, the largest allocations are in category 3 with approximately 50% of tickets per match in this category. This is followed by category 2 which has the next largest allocation. Both categories 1 and 4 have the smallest allocations. We would recommend that members apply for either category 2 or 3 in the first instance and then tick the box to accept a ticket in an adjacent category. This will give you the best chance of ensuring that you can access a ticket. " englandsupporters.thefa.com/p/eurofaqs

I'd already opted for Cat 3 for the Slovakia and Russia games and Cat 2 for the England game thinking it would be a better chance. And I've ticked the next category option. Fingers crossed!

That's very handy. Thanks.
I received an email from FAW saying that minimum we would receive for last 16 would be 5,000 which is different to the 3,000 stated by the English FA. We don't know the split between individual tickets and FMT tickets but this has a big impact on FMT tickets. If 3000 is correct then no more than 2000-2200 FMT tickets could be released due to the possibility of playing in small stadium in last 16. This would mean that there'd be a lot more individual tickets available for all the games apart from last 16 game. Would you trust FAW or English FA numbers?!

Should be a resonably safe bet for the England game as we'll be sharing the same stadium but not sure about the other two group games. Any views? Also, why couldn't the Welsh FA have supplied us with the corresponding information. They told me that UEFA weren't releasing the info to the national associations. But, while England don't have the full info, they have accessed some useful details and are advising their supporters accordingly.

the england info is not a fact its a guide to try and help theyre fans our FAW may take the view saying similar without knowing split between fyt and indivisual its a bit useless to us
In a some peoples perfect world we would know we have xxx tickets with categorie splits and fyt split was never going to happen because if it had been set out like that UEFA may have ended up with thousands of seats free in other fas allocations that could not have been sold because of segregation
so once ticket sales info is in they will move segregation line and general admission seating arrangements to transfer some of unsold seats to other fa who has been oversubscribed to ensure as close to sell out as possible and thats why everything will come out after clsoing date

so only gurantee FAW have is they will get 16 percent for fans and couple of thousands tickets per game for FAW officials sponsors etc. this being only good thing UEFA has done is ensure that all tickets in 16 percent will go to fans
