Just a heads up for people. Flights to Limoges with Ryanair from Leeds and East Midlands seem fairly cheap for week before Slovakia game

I've looked at this route as flights to Bordeaux are now extortionate. Do you plan on getting the train down from Limoges?

If you need to fly over from Bordeaux to Lens, you might want to consider Ryan Air:
Bordeaux to Brussels (Charleroi) still at 37 Euro one-way!

Charleroi is about 100km from Lille (the best accommodation base for Lens)

If you need to fly over from Bordeaux to Lens, you might want to consider Ryan Air: Bordeaux to Brussels (Charleroi) still at 37 Euro one-way! Mon 13 Jun 2016 • 14:35 - 16:10 • FR 1389 Charleroi is about 100km from Lille (the best accommodation base for Lens) If you prefer leaving on Sunday afternoon, its still only 45 euro. Charleroi is a real dump, but there are direct coaches from the airport to Brussels and Ghent - for a mere 5 euro, if you book it 2 or 3 months in advance. The Ghent bus carries on to Bruges for another 5 euro ( www.flibco.com/en). Ghent is a stunning town and the official Youth Hostel is located perfectly overlooking the canals and old castle. Double rooms (one bunk bed) are still available for 53 euro per double room including breakfast and linen. Book online for a 10% deposit and you will not be charged the remaining fee, as long as you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours ahead! There are 2 doubles and 2 4-bed rooms still available between 13 to 16 June. I will be there from 13 to 15 and stay in Lille hostel on 15th... Flights to Limoges with Ryanair from Leeds and East Midlands seem fairly cheap for week before Slovakia game If any good, Ryan Air from London Stansted depart Wednesday 8 June at 1230 to Bordeaux (arrive 3.15pm) is still £55 EDIT: as of 8 January, its now still only £65 |
