Just got an email from uefa saying that they are extending the general application until end of January. Did anyone else get this?
does it apply to members as well or just the general portal?
surely It doesn't mean they are struggling to sell all the tickets or is that just wishful thinking

Believe this is general sale. Id have thought there are quite a few games that don't tickle the taste buds for a general football supporter.

Yes. Its the general one. I noticed that in our Slovakia game some added (restricted view) tickets in Category 2. And for the England game, they have now even added Category 3 tickets at 40 Euro.
Feels to me that there is very little demand for the mid-week games!
Worth applying, surely!?

I don't think we are allowed to apply using our emails/cards for the public sale, not 100% though on that.

Seems a bit mad- they're not selling to general public so extend the deadline? Why not just increase the allocation for each of the teams playing?

Just use a different email address and passport/credit card? I know of people who have used their membership details for the FAW ballot and used their parents/mates for the general public sales to increase their chances

I'm sure a lot of people have done it to increase their chances of obtaining tickets. If you thought you were low down the pecking order with the FAW why would you not apply via the general portal?

If you thought you were low down the pecking order with the FAW why would you not apply via the general portal? +1 on that! Its a totally different allocation and certainly does not effect any of the FMT faithfuls. Its just another UEFA pathway to get bums on seats - hence only Category 1 available for Russia game, only Category 2 available for Slovakia game. Its the England game that seems to have the most left-over tickets, as its the only one on the entire list that offers tickets on Cat 1 , 2 and 3... UPDATE: UEFA have now opened Category 2 tickets for the Russia game as well as Cat 1. Even better sign that there does seem to be left over tickets from the FMT allocation, in my humble opinion...

huge apologies if this has been covered in this thread already or in another.
If you have submitted an application for Wales tickets with your unique code as a FAW member, can you apply for general tickets to other games that Wales are not involved in?
When I try to log into the general portal it just directs me to the Wales Portal?

Agreed if your mate applies and if your mate is going, that is not fraud. but if you are applying with a relation's or friend's passport details hoping to get tickets that you will then use and that your friend or relative has no intention of going that is fraud. sadly though it s a sign of the age that we live in. Where it is self first, and to hell with everybody else. You know where you stand with your membership and choose to apply through the FAW list or through the general sale. If you choose to apply through the FAW membership scheme it is wrong and immoral to also apply fraudulently through the general sale window, denying other fans the possible opportunity of getting a ticket who aren't able to apply through the FAW window.

id say members should get the genral tickets added to faw alocation , only fair we are the most loyal fans, even someone with a tenner and a card atleast bought one ahead of time , they wnt check passport number so will be fine. fans who been to games should get tickets any left those who have not . dont feel right with wales on genral sale unless to the frence as their home tournament would be ok with me as guess they want to go game in host cities and look after locals aswell , but not everyone applying when wales fans miss out who have given faw their hard earned money .

Applied for all 3 group games plus all permutations of our last 16. Hoping one comes good - if they all come up I'm 600 Euros in the hole!!

600 euros - that's a bargain! I am hoping to only pay 980 euros: first 4 games at category 2 + quarters/semis/Final at category 3
