If you are really worried and would like the guarantee at least another option of category 2 tickets (even a Cat 3 ticket for the England game) - just go to the MAIN site, that is open to all = HEREUse a different name, address and credit card - family member, friend etc. obviously! Today's availability is still:Category 3 (restricted view) for England game is 40 Euro Category 2 (restricted view) for other games are 85 Euro Regular Category 2 tickets are 105 Euro. You could always re-sell these to other Welsh fans here on our site! This lottery area only CLOSES ON 1 FEBRUARY!

euro2016-public.tickets.uefa.com/lottery/welcome_en.htmlCreate an account but not if you have already done so in the Wales Portal. You can apply for tickets for Wales game by using the general sale portal which will be open until the end of February it’s worth pointing out that UEFA won’t allow anyone to place an order through the Wales portal and a second one through public sales, both orders could then be cancelled. They can have another family member or friend create an account and apply themselves though. Please do not contact the FAW to see where YOU are on the priority list as they haven’t finalised it quite yet. Even when it is possible, it may not be easy to tell if someone will be successful as it depends how many have ordered for each category, and how many successful applicants actually have the booking processed. So there’s an anxious wait for everyone and we won’t know until February.

As UEFA have already gone to some lengths to stop applying in both Team and Public portals, the first "sift out" of applications will undoubtedly include (along with other invalid applications) applications made in duplicate by Name, Passport number and Credit Card details......anything that might lead them to believe touts are involved or rules breached. Its quite easy to "match" that type of detail up in a computerised system, so I personally don't think it's worth the risk of invalidating applications made in the Team portal......each to their own though!!!

Being a bit paranoid here, what about those who applied last summer in the general ballot, then applied using their Wales ballot now? I assume there'll be no problem there. I wasn't successful in the general ballot anyway.

That sounds reasonable, MX47. But nothing stopping applications from family members sharing the same surname - as long as its their passport, their home address and their credit card - surely?
Matty, Hopefully, the FAW are the ones that have most the power - it looks like they will just present UEFA with their list and all UEFA will have left to do is charge the credit cards ;-)
