EURO 2016 ticket update
Dear Football Fan,
Thank you for applying for tickets to UEFA EURO 2016™!
Due to the huge demand for tickets, the allocation process will be by random draw and will take place over the next few weeks.
Please be assured that you do not need to take any further action at the moment.
You will be informed of the results of your application before the end of February at the latest.
A few days before payment is taken for the tickets, we will send another email as a reminder for you to have sufficient funds on your credit card. We kindly request that you keep an eye on your inbox for this email. Please note that you will receive this email regardless of whether your application is successful or not.
Best regards,
UEFA EURO 2016™ Ticketing Team

I applied for both. Different address in different countries, different credit cards, and different emails. If successful in both I will sell the tickets on Apostle to long term members at face value or sell them at face value to FAW.

Being another of the great unwashed who applied through General Sale I also received the above email.
Fingers crossed!
Didn't apply for knock out games though as no idea where to apply for.i wonder if FAW will have some available other than for those who applied for FYT, and how they will distribute them

Got a UEFA EURO 2016™ Ticketing "Important information about your EURO 2016 ticket application" email at 15:00 - Smile - read - back to normal. Notice that the wording has changed since application from "all or nothing" to: "It is possible that you will be allocated all, some or none of the tickets that you applied for. You will be notified of the result of your application once the payment process is over." Can't help thinking that UEFA have a trick up their sleeves regarding people who applied for 7 match tickets to the final. It serves their interest to dole out "conditional" tickets to as many people, from the 24 nations, as they can. Money in the bank for 6 months is a nice sum. But they got a list from the Welsh FA - they wouldn't go against that surely? I mean, it is not like UEFA are corrupt! I think it means you could get tickets for 2/3 games for example, not 1 ticket for each game even though you applied for 2 a game.

Just a quick note to those of you that actually called you banks and gave out the specific merchant ID number UEFA gave out after applying (first two emails) : 101301211
This has NOW CHANGED in the last email to: UEFA - EURO 2016 - Avenue Kleber 112 – 75773 - Paris Cedex 16 – 1260 Merchant ID: 101301204
Not like UEFA to make silly mistakes...

As a lawyer I always check the T&C's before I buy anything. The original terms have been changed. As can be seen in the first picture, UEFA will now be using "applicable law" (which is Swiss law but doesn't explain what a Swiss random draw is!) to perform a "random draw" AFTER considering the FAW loyalty scheme. The second picture shows that if you used the Wales Portal/Follow my team, you get all or nothing. That conflicts, totally, with the third picture - which probably applies to supporters who only applied for group stage matches. What is most relevant is the "new" inclusion of a random draw! The question is, will UEFA be happy to give up all of the excess money they gain from follow my team "conditional" tickets/vouchers. They can not just give you tickets for 2-3 matches; or, the 1/4's, semis and final. Follow my team = all or nothing. I guess we will find out in the next month how corrupt football really is: Excellent post. I gambled on the principle that they would want my money longer, and less onwards administration so I went for the FMT to the final. I will find out who my friends are if I get knocked back!!!
