What if you were a successful applicant with the points scheme and you sneakily also using a different credit card and email address also end up winning tickets on the public lottery system. That's bloody unfair in my book!!! I bet you it happens though

I would like to think that people that end up with more tickets than they need, will be able to find genuine Welsh supporters to offer them to here on this site!

Personally I see nothing wrong with it. I knew I was on the cusp (what with leaving the country after many years of very depressing home-and-away matches in far harder times than these), so I had to do what I could to give myself the best chance. As far as I'm concerned, neutral tickets were fair game, and if I do get lucky twice (I managed to get Wales-end tickets for the Slovakia game), then at least I'll be able to offer my extras to true Wales supporters (AT FACE VALUE) rather than them ending up with some random punter or - more likely - a ticket tout. Not unfair, not sneaky, just fighting tooth and nail (ethically) for a ticket to see the moment I've dreamt of all my life.

As long as it's done within the rules should be ok (maybe ethically wrong but people will do what they can)

As long as it's done within the rules should be ok (maybe ethically wrong but people will do what they can) Ethics are of course different to different people, but trying for the neutral tickets as well as the Wales portal was certainly no worse than pairing up with a mate and each trying for two tickets each as an "insurance", which many have said they've done on here without any criticism (and which I think, given the uncertainty, was a fairly sensible thing to do). More transparency from the start with regards to numbers of FYT tickets, loyalty points, etc., would have saved us all from a lot of this. And, as I said, any extras I get will go to real Wales supporters rather than casual fans or touts. So - no - I don't see any ethical problem. (But to repeat my opening line, I understand that everyone has a different concept of what is "ethical" or not.)

I've got my 3 tickets for Slovakia and 3 for Russian from a completely different avenue with a promise that if I win tickets on the public lottery I'll give them tickets back to Welsh fans at face value

If you do get the extra ones mate I'll be more than happy to take them off your hand for face value and numerous French beverages. I was very keen in selecting FYT in my application as I was out in Belgium and Cyprus but was unaware of the percentages that were allocated to FYT. Killing me seeing nuggets from where I live that have been to two home games during the qualifying campaign with tickets for something I've waited 17 years for (25 Y/O). Great post. Ymlaen
