Just wondering what everyone's plans are for travelling between Bordeaux, Lens and Toulouse? Flying into Bordeaux on the 10th, so driving isn't an option, although I could rent a car I suppose - I think I'll be going on the trains but I think I'm right in saying the train tickets are not released until 3 months before travel?

Travelling by car and seeing France. A little bit of travelling each day, a bit of sightseeing, then an evening meal followed by watching the last match of each day.
Somelaces are already planned others need further planning to fit in with the daily plan.
Only one day with a long drive planned.

You can fly from Bordeaux to Lille That's what I'm doing. Flying on the Tuesday, cost £50. Then get another flight booked from Lille to Toulouse on the Friday for another £50. Both with Air France. These were booked on 14 December so suspect prices have gone up a bit since then.

These are Today's Ryan Air prices (if you fancy a short stay in Belgium):
Bordeaux to Brussels (Charleroi) 22.50 Euro = ONLY £17.50 Mon 13 Jun 2016 • 14:35 - 16:10 • FR 1389
I am staying the night at the gorgeous youth hostel in the stunning Ghent then off to Lille 2 days later.
Back to South France this way: Brussels (Charleroi) to Carcassonne 65 Euro = £49 Sat 18 Jun 2016 • 11:25 - 13:05 • FR 8023
Carcassonne is another stunning town with a gorgeous youth hostel.
Both these hostels still have double rooms for under 50 euro a night...

We are staying in between Bordeaux & Toulouse so for the England game we are flying from Bordeaux to Paris and I've booked an 8 seater with driver private hire to get us to Lens & back so we fly back the same night. it was about £60 return but we booked days after the draw.

Hi mate could I ask you where you booked your 8 seater please? Looking to book a mini bus something like an 8 seater but it will be from Bray Dunes up North right next to Dunkerque. Looking to get down for the England game

In the middle but miles from everywhere! If you flew to Paris you could get a train to Lens? Or a train all the way?

We've got ferry booked and a hostel booked for three nights in Bordeaux, but planning on camping after that until the Russia game. Where's the campsite you've found for Bordeaux?

Gatwick to Bordeaux 6.30am on Saturday morning, back to Luton on Sunday.
6.50am Eurostar to Lille from St Pancras on the Thursday, back on the Friday afternoon.
8.30am flight out to Toulouse from Gatwick on the Monday back on the Tuesday.
Back out for the hopeful round of 16 game but again a one night trip.
Have to watch the quarter, semis and final from the Dominican Republic as we fly there on the 2nd July for a fortnight, such is the need to travel in and out so often, due to work.

FAO cymru & Winnie, I booked an 8 seater with driver to pick us up from Orly Airport at 10.30 on match day as we are flying in from Bordeaux. Take us to Lens, drop us off and then collect us straight after the game to get us back to Orly by 9pm latest to get our flight back. i would have preferred the trains but couldn't get back to the airport in time. I went to 3 companies which I googled and ended up using Rent a Bus Europe .com. The were the cheapest by far and didn't want silly deposits as we were British Football fans haha. Still pricey at €700. So it's paid for so all I need now is some England tickets....

RE: Travelling from Valenciennes/Lille/Lens to Toulouse.
Anyone got any ideas of somewhere to stop for a night or 2 in between? Or is it worth just going straight to Toulouse? We'd be travelling by train.
I noticed it's Belgium v ROI in Bordeaux on the Saturday
