Can any of you Welsh fans please give me advice on making the journey from Bordeaux to Lille after the Slovakia game (including return). I,m looking for the easiest and cheapest way to avoid taking my car !I,m already driving Calais to Bergerac on the 10th of June , so trying to give the car and myself a break !! I,ve tried making enquiries about train travel but keep getting told you cant book more than 3 months in advance , but i'd like to have some definate things in place ! I have hotel pre booked in Lens but i,ve got friends staying in Lille and think this would be more suitable ! Thanks in advance ! Excited isn't the word !!!

These prices on Ryan Air were true last night!if you fancy a short stay in Belgium - Brussels is only 100km away from Lille (30km away from Lens).. Bordeaux to Brussels (Charleroi) 22.50 Euro = ONLY £17Mon 13 Jun 2016 • 14:35 - 16:10 • FR 1389 I am staying the night at the gorgeous youth hostel in the stunning Ghent then off to Lille 2 days later. Back to South France this way: Brussels (Charleroi) to Carcassonne 65 Euro = £49 Sat 18 Jun 2016 • 11:25 - 13:05 • FR 8023 Carcassonne is another stunning town with a gorgeous youth hostel. About 80km from Toulouse Both these hostels still have double rooms for under 50 euro a night... Book the hostels at www.hihostels.com/

Radnorboy61, If you want to make it even cheaper, you can fly back to Bordeaux with Ryan Air for the same silly price of €22.50 (£17) on SUNDAY 19 June, all these times available: dept Brussels 11.25am arrive 1pm dept Brussels 2.50pm arrive 4.25pm
Carcassonne is on-route to Toulouse, so you can still stay the night there!

Cheers guys , i think i might just wait till closer the day ! I quite like the idea of a leisurely drive up and down France but i also want to be at venues as soon as possible and savour the atmosphere , if that makes any sense ?
